Christy's Donuts

I am happy to announce that I found a place that reminds me of a donut shop back home that is no longer there but I missed so much! I've tried several with no luck until I found this spot! Quick service, yummy donuts. I love this place so much

These donuts had a terrible aftertaste like metal or poison. I think they were probably using old and possibly bad oil, or worse. They were un-edible and possibly could cause sickness.

Ive been going here since I was little and it is still so good, the donuts are delicious and the lady at the counter is so kind and funny. There is a retro donut shop theme and it is overall so fun would recomend!

The donuts are delicious when fresh . Service is good. The atmosphere is good. The price is decent for a dozen donuts.

Felt likes donuts at 8 at night. Went and got a dozen. These donuts are nice and fluffy with great freshness!!! Very good donuts! Nice and friendly owners!!

Took the kids to get a donut, they were really excited. Despite having tables and chairs the lady told us "no one can sit". Wtf. So now we have crying kids who thought they were going for a fun outing to eat a donut. Definitely won't ever be back.

I love this donut shop! The donuts are fresh, traditional, and consistently delicious! They have a great variety. It's a family owned and operated small business in East County. Their prices are lowlier to average for local traditional donut shops. I even custom order donuts for parties. They are always exactly what I wanted.

I wanted to like this place. My husband use to come here when he was a kid and spoke highly of Christy's. Unfortunately right when I ate a glazed donut, I could taste what seemed to be plastic. I tried the chocolate donut, assuming it was just the glazed and unfortunately, the chocolate donut also tasted of plastic. I instantly wanted to vomit. The lady up front also seemed annoyed with us. There's a ton of options so we were taking our time (I'm exaggerating on taking our time. We immediately started ordering as we entered) & right when we had already ordered 4 donuts, she goes " ok. Do you have half a dozen or 12? The cinnamon doesn't count with your 4. What do you want. " I couldn't process quickly enough, to answer so she again, repeated herself, since this came out of nowhere. So I answered "6". I'm not about to order 12, knowing I've never been here. The last 2, were just chocolate, since it seemed like she wanted us out. When we paid, she held onto our card until it processed thru. I absolutely felt immediately uncomfortable and concerned.Again, I wanted to like this place, given the great feedback from hubs and his fam but it's a no for me.

Just got back from there and found loose hairs in the donuts. That's gross. Be careful.

Been going here for 20+ years and it's always been amazing! Wonderful doughnuts and incredibly kind staff. The inside of the establishment is cozy and not too modern.
