All I kept saying the entire time I was eating my sandwich was "mmm..." mmm!" "Mmm this is a good sandwich" and "this is a quality sandwich".Really top notch quality sandwiches. And great service as well. Everything was so fresh and the combination of everything in the sandwich was delicious. We tried the green flash and navigator sandwiches. They were both incredibly delicious.Should've tried this place out much sooner! Will definitely be back.

Chris's Deli is a hidden gem! The pastrami sandwich, especially the Harpoon, is unbeatable. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the patio adds to the cozy vibe. A must-visit for sandwich lovers!

I've ordered here several times before, so on my visit this past weekend in San Diego I knew to order ahead. I ordered the Mediterranean, chicken with feta, spinach and red onion and more cheese served in a pita. I also picked up their pasta salad and some jalapeno chips. The sandwich was fresh and flavorful. The pita was also nice and soft, unlike some that our hard and dry. The pasta salad was a bit of a disappointment. It was try color pasta with some feta and veggies. There was no type of dressing so it was dry. Funny because it was a dollar more than the potato salad and macaroni salad which I now wish I would have gotten. Glad I got the chips, after one bite of the pasta salad. I have ordered other great sandwiches here and the service is outstanding. Great place to pick up a meal to go, or you can eat at one of the tables outside. I will definitely be back.

Stopped here on a whim desperate for sandwiches earlier in the morning and this place was open. I've driven past this place probably hundreds of times going in and out of OB, I thought it was just a liquor store but It has an incredible deli! I got the Dirty Spanos, a BLT with avocado and sprouts so yum. A very decently priced delectable sammy. The guy helping us out was super cool (might've even been Chris!) We will definitely be back.

Have come here twice and have been disappointed both times. The customer service is mediocre at best, and the wait time for sandwiches is ridiculous. We waited for an hour the first time and the second time called in an order just to get home after spending $30 on two sandwiches, for one of the orders to be completely wrong. The sandwiches are good but nothing special. Could definitely make the same thing but better at home. As an OB local, I want to like this place but two times did it for me and my family to decide that we shall not be returning.

It could have been better for sure. Very little chicken salad in a half sandwich, for which I could have bought an entire chicken for the price.I've also had a Navigator. The sandwich is just packed with nutrition-less bagged, shredded iceberg lettuce, loosely made so their sandwiches fall completely apart when you're trying to eat them.Not enough meat. Just meh. The sandwiches are $13 with nothing extra added, and I came in because of convenience only. Put more protein + meat in your sandwiches or I'd rather go slightly out of my way over to Siesel's Old Fashioned Meats over in Bay Park.Definitely, the guys in here could q-up the personality ratio to sleepwalking the way they don't greet and are kind of lame as far as being pleasant. 2 points = eh.

Been coming here for years because I live right down the street. Within the last year the prices on items have become ridiculous. Beer is two dollars more than a store one block away. The menu says a sandwich is $10.99 and then you charge $12.99. I get that things are more expensive but you shouldn't be gouging your patrons.
