It's just simply the best bakery around. When you want something fresh you want it delicious you go to Chris 's bakery. They have all the goodies Tuesdays is pumpernickel morning. Thursdays is fresh sourdough. And every day is pie day. Life is short eat dessert first

I am out and about enjoying my Saturday and decided to stop in at my favorite local bakery, Chris' Bakery in Oak Harbor.They always have a huge selection of pastries and they always taste WONDERFUL!Today I selected a cream cheese frosted cinnamon roll. Mmmmm... so tasty.They are all set for the Holiday season with a lot of seasonal offerings.I saw Christmas cookies, fruited breads, holiday tins full of cookies, Rum Tortes, and other holiday offerings. If you're in the area and looking for Christmas treats... you definitely need to shop at Chris' Bakery in Oak Harbor. I hear customers often overwhelmed with the choices available and simply ask for an assortment. The staff are very cheerful and happily makes it easy for the customers by selecting random items for the customer to enjoy. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and polite.

Rating based on the donuts alone! This bakery has plenty of offerings but I've only tried the donuts on several occasions, including a couple of birthday parties. In fact, my birthday is this weekend, and I'll be ordering donuts instead of cake!!

Chris' is where we have gone for some ultra-pretty birthday cakes, bulk cupcakes, and fancy doughnuts. It's on the spendier side when compared with a grocery store.... But it's not a grocery store!The inside is small... a little cramped. However, if you're just going in to pick up some baked goods, who cares? Staff is efficient and kind. They respond to Facebook messenger messages within about 24 hours, but if you need something soon, I recommend calling.

Donuts are excellent. Loved the apple fritters, which are my favorite. The staff is kind and friendly. If it wasn't for my betes, I'd go there everyday.

Donuts that actually taste fresh and delicious! They also have cookies, a few breakfast/lunch options, made to order drinks, cakes, bread options, and a cooler of grab and go drinks.Friendly service.

Been here multiple times since people rave about this place. Everything so far has that "day old" taste. No need to go here. Boxed cake mix is better and Haggen has better pastries and donuts for sure.

I went to Chris' bakey when they opened today at 6am. I came to get my friend donuts since it was his birthday. I came back home and tried one and they all just seemed... old. Not fresh at all. The packaging clearly states "fresh donuts" I think they gave me some old ones from the previous day. My total for a dozen donuts and two small coffees was a little over $40. If I'm spending this much on donuts I'd like them to be fresh. My friend still loved them but you could just tell they were not fresh at all... I might just have to specifically ask for fresh ones if I ever come back next time.
