Chote’s Tacos

I've had a few things on the menu including Tacos and the carne asada fries. Everything has been delicious and the fries are something that really hit the spot. I missed carne asada fries from when I lived in the Bay Area in California. So, I was happy to see them on the menu here. Service is fast and friendly. I've chatted with the owner a few times and I can tell that he is thinking about how to keep the menu fresh while maintaining high standards, and being able to serve folks quickly. So far my experiences have been great and this is one of my regular spots.

Food was stellar the first few times, but dwindled. Their salsa was bomb and then all the sudden started tasting like tomato sauce. They have a lot of room for growth.

Service was great and the asada burrito was delicious. Will be back, just wish it was closer than truck town.

10/10 food and service. We stop here often to grab their delicious LARGE burritos to eat on the road. Fajitas are excellent too. Quick and easy. Made with care and quality ingredients. Great value. Highly recommend.

Welcome Chote's to North Bend! Replacing Hammer Lane Grill, Chote's Tacos shares is connected to the gas station and is serving up Mexican food. It's not clear yet if they plan to expand the menu or not, but when I visited they had a limited menu featuring a breakfast burrito, chimichanga, taco plate, quesadillas, super nachos, burrito, torta, and asada fries. There was also churros, sopes, and tostadas available. Meat options featured chicken, steak, and adobada (steak, chorizo, or bacon for the breakfast burrito). We tried the arroz con pollo special, which was okay. We enjoyed the chicken quesadillas, but we found the super nachos to be super! Very tasty with lots of layers of cheese and toppings. The churro was also very good.We will plan on returning in the future.

Rice and beans were delicious, the chicken wasn't like what photos showed. It might have been frozen before, the texture and smell were similar to dog food. Kinda sad because the reviews and photos made me excited to go.

Highly recommend this place! One of the best spot's in North Bend. Service is always great and food is top quality. Comparable to Rio Bravo, but honestly I like the tacos better here! I love the family owned business vibe and overall love this place.

Yuck! $16 for the taco plate of 3 tiny street tacos, lukewarm beans and hard cold rice. The Mexican food is nowhere near the quality it was when the location/prior owners were known as Hammer Lane. Asada was tough and chewy (poor quality meat and clearly reheated), red sauce lacked heat and rice and beans had absolutely no flavor. I used to come in here monthly for the huge wet burrito but it's been removed from the menu with new ownership. Hammer Lane had the best unbelievably spicy rojo sauce! There was not a soul in the place at 6:30 pm despite trucks everywhere at the adjacent truck stop. Very limited menu. So disappointed! Not good quality Mexican food whatsoever. Back to the taco trucks in Issaquah!
