Came in for the first time today, quaint, small location plenty of parking and seating. Very clean btw. After looking at the menu I asked the lady if they can make a veggie egg foo young since I didn't see it in the menu and she said yes of course. I do get particular with this dish so I only order it from certain places per their version. I was very happy with my serving. Absolutely fresh veggies in a tasty rich bean sauce! even the texture of the omelette was spot on! fantastic first experience here I'll be back.

Solid American Chinese food in the Rancho Bernardo - Poway area. Prices are reasonable considering the inflation. They serve items on plates. Food has good flavor and service is friendly.

Plenty of parking in this plaza. Friendly staff and quick service. I asked for a split check prior to ordering but she still combined it at the end. Cozy indoor and outdoor dining. Rate 3.5, round to 4.Their lunch specials are daily from 11-3pm that comes with rice and appetizers. You can add $1 for soup and $1 for vegetables. There are 16 items with two vegetarian items. There's also a section called "special combination plate" that offer choices served daily 11-5pm, after 5pm would be $1 extra. Different items than lunch and comes with same sides but with egg roll and wontons. Add $1 for soup.I decided against lunch menu and got fresh wonton soup with noodles. It was a decent size bowl that could be easily shared among two if family style. Since I ate it as a meal, it was like the size of a ramen bowl.It was lo mein noodles and 4 freshly made pork wontons with cabbage, broccoli and carrots. The broccoli was too tough and needed to be cooked a tad bit longer. The broth was perfect for my palate but others might say it was bland. You can add sauces. My friend got the lo mein bba pork under special combo plate. I saw an egg roll but not cream cheese wonton. For dinner, there's a menu for $16 or $17 per person with 6 choices. The menu is comparable to other Chinese restaurants and with fair prices. The shrimp category seems to be the highest at $17.85 which is understandable with seafood.

A surprising hidden gem. You'd never know from the exterior but they really know what they're doing and the food is excellent. We opted to dine in and based on what we saw, this was probably rare. It looks like the majority of their business is take-out. The tables were clean, everything was well maintained, I tried Moo Shu Beef and it was amazing. I'll be back. I think I found my new takeout spot.

Our go-to spot on those days we don't feel like cooking. Never disappoints! Our typical order is the orange peel chicken (comes with rice) and shrimp lo mein - highly recommend. But when we've stayed to eat at the restaurant, they usually serve egg drop soup before the main courses. One day we will be more adventurous with the menu, but it's hard to resist the go-tos when they're always on point!

Chicken wings are very solid here. I like spicy food, but the Hot and Sour Soup was almost too spicy to eat, like 9/10. BBQ Pork Lo Mein was just OK. Noodles were stiff without too much flavor.Really nice people and good service, but I think I still prefer Iron Wok overall. Both places are a similar distance from me.

Was looking for a cheaper alternative to another popular Chinese restaurant in PQ. This one had good reviews but maybe I just didn't order the right things. Beef chow fun: had about 6 pieces of beef. Noodles were ok texture, some were a bit too soft. I ordered at lunchtime so maybe it didn't have time to get the wok hei flavor. Shrimp lo mein: noodles were a bit mushy, not enough flavor. Also strange that it comes jammed into a small box while the other one comes in a big box. In a pinch, it would do. Plus, the prices are better than the other place. Maybe I'll just need to add my own seasoning at home.

Went for a late lunch around 2pm. There was one customer eating outside (1 table next to the entrance outside) and inside the staff were eating their lunch. It is located on the left end of the target complex (sharing the parking lot for Amazon Fresh that is not yet opened), so there are plenty of parking spaces. It is a small restaurant so there won't be enough space for a big party. We ordered the almond chicken and the hot and sour soup. I was craving the hot and sour soup since it was raining. The hot and sour soup came out really quickly and it was just perfect. Not too sweet and had the right amount of sourness to it. The almond chicken had fresh almonds (didn't have the old nut smell to it) and the chicken was moist and well seasoned. It is a bit salty due to the nature of the way it is cooked but it comes with a small bowl of rice which balanced it out. While we were eating, the staff were all hand making the wontons on one of the tables. Made me want to try their wonton soup next time. They do have a lunch special menu as well if you don't want bigger portions but we got the dinner size and the full bowl of soup which came out to be $24.00. Still had leftovers which we packed to take home. Staff were friendly. There is a sign that says they are trying to help preserve water so you will have to actually ask for your cup of water if you want it. They did ask us if we wanted water to drink when we ordered so it wasn't a problem but just in case you sit down and they don't give you water immediately, that is why.
