Choong Man Chicken

Choong Man Chicken is a delicious spot for Korean fried chicken! It is located in the plaza with Teso Life, so there are a bunch of things to do before or after eating here. The server was attentive and the atmosphere inside was chill.I ordered the Garlic Soy Chicken and it was really yummy! Garlic soy is usually my go to flavor for Korean fried chicken and I am glad that the sauce was already infused in the meat as I know some other places like to have the sauce on the side. The chicken was super crispy and the meat was juicy! I also got the Cheese Monster Fries which tasted super good because of the cheese seasoning on top. My only qualm about this place is that the wings were TINY! I was expecting them to be a little meatier. But overall, this is a good spot for some crispy and flavorful chicken!

Let me tell you something... I thought I knew fried chicken but I did not! Love love love this place!!! It is true that frying chicken is an art and I enjoyed every minute of it! Choong Man Chicken offers a variety of chicken based sauces delicately cooked to impress!I suggest going with other people and mixing your orders to taste all they offer.Don't get me started on the coleslaw! BEST EVER!!! And I appreciated the serving of pickled radishes on the table. I ate the whole bowl.I will DEFINITELY be back!Thank you Chef Jeff for sharing your culinary vision and skill to us!!!

First of all, they changed their name (and the outdoor sign) to "CM Chicken".I've been meaning to check out their famous Korean Chicken for ages. There are many Korean Chicken restaurants in the Duluth and surrounding areas, but Choong Man Chicken seemed to stand out for some reason.I arrived super-early for lunch, and was seated right away. The place had a dark, barsy vibe...but they did play some perky K-Pop videos. Am thinking this place is more popular at nights...since chicken and beer is a thing (with Koreans). Anyway, the service was friendly...and the foods came quickly.Anyway, I tried their "Soy Garlic Spring Greens Chicken", which comes with a side of white radish. I also ordered a side or Rice. Since I came for lunch, I got the smaller portion, which was still substantial.As expected, the chicken was delish...but not quite what I expected. The chicken didn't seem double-fried (?) and wasn't crispy...which was disappointing. I guess to get the double-fried crispy, I should have gone with other flavors. I actually regretted not choosing their signature flavor, "Snow Onion Chicken"...as that chicken seemed more crispy.Overall, I was a tad disappointed...but mostly due to what I chose (?). Am thinking that I'll try their "Snow Onion" next time...and see if that'll merit 5 stars.

We are 7 on the group and we ordered all of the flavors of the tikkudak. All tastes great! We ate it with rice and also ordered the calamari. We like the side radish. We got full and finished everything. My brother ordered another of the red pepper tikkudak. I can only eat 1 of those. So good but really spicy and it will hit you after.

Choongman Chicken is a fantastic spot for freshly made-to-order chicken. Although it does take a while for the food to be prepared, the wait is absolutely worth it. The restaurant is always clean and maintains a comfortable noise level, making it a pleasant place to dine.The staff are very nice and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. I particularly loved the soy garlic wings--they were delicious! Highly recommend Choongman Chicken for anyone looking for great food and excellent service.

I am in town visiting relatives and I was craving Korean fried chicken . I have tried it in South Korea and then here in Georgia . We decided to try a new spot and we were not disappointed! First the chicken mmmm! , The service is great and the chicken again is so so good! I personally like the classic soy garlic and if you're like me and you like spicy try the spicy wings. They have cole slaw , friend and other sides . Pieces are big . And I can say that I have a new Korean fried chicken spot! I recommend this business. Update , for all my miami people , we now have CM I'm Florida ! Review coming soon !

Delicious Korean fried chicken and great fast service! The garlic spicy chicken wings are just the right amount of spice and the sweet flavor of garlic soy chicken wings was incredible. The service was impeccable, all of the staff was extremely attentive and quick but not pushy at all. Just thinking about this place makes me crave those wings!!

It was my boyfriend and I first time trying out CM chicken on pleasant hill. It was delicious. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong flavor and realized it was way too spicy for my liking and one of the workers there helped me and was nice enough to let me switch out the flavor. Big shout out to him for being flexible. We tried the garlic soy with plain white rice and highly recommend!

5 Star Chicken!We ordered the original fried chicken & coleslaw. Server brought pickled cube radish.The place was well patronized. For obvious reasons. The chicken was hot, crispy, light, not oily and the meat is moist. The pieces were cut into good size. It wasn't too small that might dry out when double fried. I usually do not like chicken breast but this time, I ate it because it was super moist.The coleslaw was tangy and the cabbage had good crunch. I love coleslaw but I love it more when it's not drowning in mayo. This coleslaw had the right amount of mayo, sweet & tangy all at the same time. How do they do it?The pickled radish were cut to good cubes. I've had tiny cubes that didn't go well with chicken. The serving size of the radish was generous too.I loved what I had last night. Will be back for sure.

My go to KFC spot,Chicken is always crispy and flavorful. Quick and good customer service. Ambiance is open and modern.
