Inside G.M Mart immediately to the left when you walk in is this very small food cord. There is some Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. This place, the Korean, had a lot of great reviews so we gave it a shot. Wow! We were not disappointed. It exceeded any expectation that you might have. Which given that it's inside of a grocery store. Could be low. But make a mistake. Incredibly flavorful really well thawed out menu. Hot and fresh made. We had the kimchi stew with pork, Beef, stone bowl, and of course, all of the banchan. (Honestly the only thing that could've been a little more exciting. It was pretty basic, but they were all very tasty.) With some complementary tea, and the portions were just perfect.

Located inside the g mart along with a couple other restaurants. We ordered the combo tofu soup and the lunch portion bulgogi. I liked that the tofu soup came with an essentially unbroken block of tofu :p decent spread of banchan for the Seattle area, and my fav part was that rice comes in a hot stone by default so you can enjoy crispy rice without the need for a bibimbap.

Ambience: no-frills Korean restaurant in G-Mart food courtFood: we ordered the beef short rib and tofu soup combo for 2 people. It came with stone pot rice (which a lot of restaurants don't do this) and 5 side-dishes. For tofu soup, we got soybean paste soup, the soup came bubbling hot and tastes good, perfect for a cold day. The beef short rib was good but portion size was on the smaller side. For the side dishes, the potato was tasty, the rest was bland. This combo was a bit small for 2 people but was a good size for the price. Overall I'm not impressed by the flavors and the portion size.Service: fast, food came fast and the server came by to refill our tea during the meal. The restaurant was fairly empty when we ate there.

A bit of a disappointment all around. The many rave reviews gave me reasons to have high expectations. The service was subpar. We were greeted and seated by someone who seemed unhappy to have customers. During the meal, the server never checked back with us, and I had to ask twice for tea refill. Food-wise, the Kalbi could have been more tender if a better quality meat was used. The Soondobu had good flavor but it could have been improved with an egg and some Gim added. The five Ban Chan was limited and mediocre.

Small restaurant inside the Korean mart across Walmart. There are other locations as well. The food was good, but the portion has decreased a lot since. Ordered tofu soup and short ribs. It's sad how you only get 2 small piece/slice of ribs for almost $20. It doesn't come with the small fish anymore and that's what I was hoping for. It was a bit cold in there the lady that served us was nice. I just wish for $40 should've been a bigger portion.

Food was meh for this Cho Dang. They should in theory be using the same recipe but it definitely did not taste as good as my home location. Hard to believe but service was even worse than food. Very crabby and overwhelmed lady passive aggressively commenting and behaved like she dislikes her job deeply. Sadly I would too but doesn't make it acceptable. Ambiance is all about expectations. Inside a Korean mart so it was awesome and convenient to pick up a few items after. But definitely not a date night. Will not return if I can help it.

A nice Korean tofu soup restaurant located inside of the G-Mart mall. If I had to choose between the tofu soup restaurant in G-Mart or H-Mart, I would choose the one here in G-Mart because the stone rice bowl is something that most Korean restaurants just don't do! It's experience you just can't find anywhere else really. You have to come here before 7:30pm or else they stop doing the stone rice bowl though. FoodThe tofu soup here is pretty good! Can't go wrong with beef or dumpling if you aren't sure what to get. I like seeing that it comes out bubbling cause I know it'll warm me up on a cold winter day. The soup is not super salty either. I love this place for tofu soup because it's one of the few places that I've seen in the Seattle area that do the stone rice bowl. AtmosphereVery casual and a spot that I would just come to quickly eat or get take out. Not the fanciest spot since it's in a grocery store. Tables are shared with the other restaurants in the grocery store. PricingThe prices for the tofu soup are average compared to other tofu soups prices. If anything, this place has more value because of the stone rice bowl. Service Service was okay. They brought the food out to the table we were sitting at. They also clear the tables for you. OtherPlenty of parking in front of the grocery store. The restaurants are on the side of the grocery store.

This place has recently been my go-to spot for Soondubu. This is located inside G-Mart to the left with a couple other food court like restaurants.Recently, I've been drinking a lot of soups so I needed to change it up and got the stone pot bibimbap instead. Portion looked small, but felt just right after I ate it. I haven't had bibimbap for a long time and it was very much well welcomed to have again. Come with egg, beef, bean sprouts, mushrooms, and other veggies. Forgot to take a photo before mixing it all together, but that's alright. Not everyone ever takes the after- picture haha! They usually bring the bon chon with your food, so can't really snack on the sides while you wait for your entree. Service is just okay. They are responsive if you need anything, so just wave them down. It's not in the menu, but they do have coke and sprite for sale, but if you want to save a buck, just buy a can in the fridge at G-mart for a better deal.Overall, I like this place a lot. It has a home made type of vibe and provides a nice saris hardy meal. Worth checking out.

Had lunch here around 2pm on a weekend and it was packed with people both sitting and waiting for togo orders. It's a tiny hole in the wall inside of G Mart, a Korean grocery store. We ordered seafood pajun, seafood and beef soon do bu (I had the seafood version) and mackerel. O-M-G. Everything tasted like it was home cooked. The rice was in the stone pot, which kept it nice and warm. The banchan was delish and fresh. Can't wait to go back!

Located inside the G Mart Korean supermarket. It's kind of like a food stall in a small food court area with two other stalls, but this Korean place does have its own semi-enclosed seating section. Very low frills. Menu has a selection of their tofu soups, some signature Korean dishes like bulgogi, kalbi and bibimbap, but not lacking some other items like savory pancakes. I got the kalbi and seafood tofu soup combo. The seafood soup was a mid sized bowl. Pretty good flavors. Tofu was soft and silky. Has some clams, shrimp etc. You do get plenty of rice with the soup. The kalbi short ribs were decent, but you don't get that many pieces. The table gets 5 banchan appetizers, which is a decent number, and you get some complementary hot tea. Food came out in reasonable time. Overall the taste was decent, but it's $30+ before tax and tip per person isn't that cheap for what's essentially a supermarket food court.
