Chispa's

While looking for a place to pick up dinner we came across Chispa's in the area. We decided to give it a shot and created an online order and everything we got was fresh and delicious:Ceviche - Fresh and tasty Chips and Guac - DittoCarne Asada Quesadilla - ended up saving this for the week and it was tasted great re-heated in the airfryer - lots of carne asada too!Pollo Asado and Al Pastor TacosChispas Salad with ChickenChicken Tenders/Kids BurritoPick up was super easy and on-time, they had it ready to go right when I got there. There were a few people inside - very clean and the service was friendly. I thought the value for what we got was spot on, great quality, and lot of amazing options to fit anyone's taste. Will definitely try this place again (especially breakfast!)

First time trying Chispa's and woooow it hit the spot for Taco Tuesday! I got the tuesday special which consisted of 4 birria tacos with consomé. The quality of the meat was amazing for getting it thru a drive- thru fast service restaurant. The comsomé was nice and hot to dip the tacos in. I am impressed. I was only able to get thru one taco since it is so rich and full of flavor. Looking forward to left overs and exploring some other tasty options on the menu

Update- After a year of consistently trying this place I can genuinely say it never disappoints. The description is in the name - it's fast and fresh. It's not the rich, indulgent, calorie-dense food you'll get from a sit down Mexican restaurant (which I prefer) but the simple flavors and always fresh veggies keep me going back. I do wish their hot sauce was a bit spicier but everything is consistently delicious here. I hope they're around for a long time!

I didn't even know this place was here. I had noticed the signage, I suppose but at no point did it register this was a drive thru (and sit in) restaurant. That being said, I checked it out three days ago. And then the following day. And then... today. Tuesday I tried the Birria tacos and cevicheWednesday Papa with veggie as protein, jalapeno carrot onion, spinach and mushrooms for toppings annnd another ceviche, only this time it came with no chip rounds and Tuesday it did. Thursday I had another papa but instead of spinch I tried the roasted green chilies. Um, yea. I dig it. Yes, I will be back. However, I may have to take a break before this IS my diet.

Wow I should have been here sooner! The roasted green chiles are delicious and I love them in my bowl of fish/rice/refried beans. Salsa here is hot and spicy. Horchata is tasty and thicker than other place.Outdoor seating is nice and also dog-friendly. They also have drive thru that is wrapped around their building.

"WOW NOT WHAT I EXPECTED!"I got the carne asada fries -really good flavor -salsa taste amazing -pico is fresh -fries are crunchy and I love that they are not thick-I love the addition of the cucumber in the pico -notes to chef: The cilantro garlic aïoli was too strong on the garlic side. The sauce should be considered for revision. For $13 dollars there needs to be more food to fry ratio. When I was eating this I was left with only fries at the bottom, wanting more toppings. The BURRITO was amazing. Tortilla is really good, steak is seasoned perfectly. A well rounded burrito that I would order again. Would I come back? YES I WOULD

what a great find! discovered this place via the TooGoodToGo app and so glad i did. went through the drive thru to pick up my order which included ceviche & warm chips. the service was fast and the worker was friendly and helpful. didn't stop by inside to check out the ambiance but from outside it looks really cute. as for the ceviche, WOW! so refreshing, the amount of lime was perfect & i enjoyed the smaller bits of shrimp as opposed to whole big pieces. all the ingredients were cut very well and made for the perfect bite. the chips were warm and crispy and paired very well together. will definitely be back to try more of their food, love the convenience of the drive thru!

The service is quick and friendly. Food is fresh and delicious. Ceviche was so good. This container was hugh. Enough for 2 with rice and beans and fresh chips.

The food was delicious! I got the asada fries. I was able to share with my son. So it was a big serving. The toppings were fresh. You get a lot of options to put on top.

Full disclosure: The food is good, not great. I added a star because the service is so wonderful, and you get so much food for the very reasonable prices.The value is polar opposite to the nearby Dilla Libre. I can't recommend the carne asada, but the chicken and carnitas are both really good. My two tacos here contain at least twice as much food as the three tacos I tried at Dilla Libre and for a lesser price.If you eat cool and atmosphere, go to Dilla Libre. If you prefer a hole-in-the-wall that serves good value, fresh, honest food, go here.
