If you're looking for an extraordinary culinary adventure, look no further than the Omakase experience at Chirori. From the moment we stepped into the intimate sushi bar, we knew we were in for something special. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a minimalist aesthetic that allows the artistry of the food to take center stage. We opted for the Omakase, and it was nothing short of a revelation. Each course was a beautifully curated experience, showcasing the freshest ingredients and the chef's incredible skill. The fish was impeccably sourced, and the meticulous attention to detail in each presentation was breathtaking. It felt as though we were being taken on a journey through the ocean, with each dish telling a story of flavors, textures, and artistic flair. We also chose the sake pairing for an additional $70, and I cannot recommend this enough. The sake selections were thoughtfully chosen, each one enhancing the flavors of the corresponding dish. The pairing was not just a complement; it elevated the entire experience. From the refreshing notes of Junmai to the rich, umami-driven flavors of a premium Daiginjo, each sip was a perfect match that brought out the best in the food. The knowledgeable staff were eager to share insights about each sake, enriching our understanding and appreciation of the pairings.Highlights of the evening included a delicate toro that melted in our mouths, a perfectly seasoned and grilled eel that was both sweet and savory, and a unique dessert that surprised us with its creativity. Each course flowed seamlessly into the next, creating a harmonious rhythm that kept us engaged and delighted throughout the meal. The sushi chefs were incredibly skilled and passionate about their craft, and their warmth made the experience even more special. Watching them work, we felt like we were part of an exclusive culinary performance, where every cut and every plate was executed with precision and care.In conclusion, the Omakase at Chirori is an experience that any sushi lover should indulge in at least once. With the additional sake pairing, it becomes a symphony of flavors that truly celebrates the art of sushi. We left feeling not only satisfied but inspired, already dreaming of our next visit. If you have the chance to sit at the sushi bar at Chirori, seize it--you won't regret it!

Chirori Japanese Restaurant is a true gem in our local dining scene. The quality of the food is top-notch, with each dish showcasing fresh ingredients and authentic Japanese flavors. The presentation is equally impressive, making every meal a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. What sets Chirori apart is the outstanding staff. They are warm, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Chef Jackie, in particular, is a highlight. His culinary skills and passion shine though in every dish he creates, and his friendly interactions with guests add a special touch to the experience. For anyone looking for the best local Japanese cuisine, Chirori is a must-visit. I can't recommend it highly enough!

If you're looking for affordable omakase, this is your spot. We got the cheaper omakase menu for dinner (they have a premium one that has even more courses), but the basic level was already so filling. The fish quality was amazing, the chef was great, and everything came out so beautifully. We were there celebrating a birthday, and the staff were so attentive and nice. They also gave us a cheesecake on the house. If you're looking for omakase lunch, they also have that option. But I'll be back again to try the a la carte menu!

A hidden gem in midtown with a happy hour and free parking? Sign me up. Their happy hour is from 5-7 on weekdays and they have a free lot in the back. The rolls were phenomenal, exceptional in taste and quality. The service is relatively quick as well. My friend and I ordered three rolls, and we left extremely full. I have always had a pleasant experience at Chirori and always look for excuses to visit.

I had been looking forward to trying this spot for a while but was left pretty disappointed. You can tell the chef is inexperienced by the ragged awkward cuts of nigiri.. the presentation of the avocado creme salmon appetizer was very disappointing. It was half a slice of avocado and they didnt even take the sticker off. Their rolls lacked flavor as well. The quality of the fish seems decent but the chefs really lacked the experience to show the full quality of their ingredients.

A must try omakase experience. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We were left very satisfied. It was very reasonable in price compared to other options out there. Lucky for us when we booked it was only the two of us so it was like having the whole restaurant to ourself which made the experience even better.

My friends and I placed a reservation for their lunch omakase, and it was delectable! I would say the service started before we even arrived as once I confirmed the reservation for today, I was sent instructions on the various places to park! We were able to find parking behind the building, but they do have additional parking for busier times in two other locations nearby. Once inside, we were immediately sat at the sushi bar with all of our plating, water, and drink menu set up for us. The plating was beautiful, and I love the intimate feel the restaurant has. They brought out the miso soup first, which was delicious. After that, we got a beautiful tuna tartare that we were able to wrap in what I believe is seaweed. While not my favorite course, it was great. Once that course was completed, we were served each piece of nigiri one by one. Our waitress told us that the wet towel provided to us was so that we could clean our fingers after each nigiri course to keep clean. I thought was great. She also made sure to always fill out waters and was just a delight to talk to. The standouts for the nigiri were the marinated tuna, the fatty tuna, Branzino, and the seared scallop with uni. My friends loved the smoky salmon with white truffle and caviar, but personally, it was not my favorite. To finish us off, we were served a scoop of matcha ice cream. I am a sucker for matcha ice cream, so I enjoyed it immensely. I am definitely coming back again!

My girlfriend and I went here for her birthday, and it was fantastic! She's gluten free and I'm vegetarian, but they went out of their way to accommodate us, even serving me a veggie roll that wasn't officially on the menu. The food was delicious and we had the place to ourselves since it was a Monday. Everyone was incredibly nice and I would definitely go back!

Service was great. She was very attentive to us all night recommended some great drinks. Happy to have us. The rolls were okay. Nothing crazy to write home about. They came out super fast which was a little unnerving. We ordered the spider roll, Jessica roll, and something else with gold on it (why??). Each of them tasted kinda similar. The fish was fresh but not slap ya mama fresh. Flavors were overall fine 3.5/5Drinks were really good extremely decorative and flavorful. Nothing like other simple cocktail menus 4/5The restaurant had a bad smell but I'm chalking that up to a pipe burst or something. I wouldn't go back but I see why other folks would.

What an amazing place. To see a great Chef such as Jackie who takes pride in their work. The details, the decor, the quality of the food, the service, all perfect. Recently coming back from our honeymoon where we had food from a Michelin star chef, and to come back and have sushi that could very well be considered the same caliber. An experience you must try. We had the omakase and it definitely was worth it. The cocktails were also very creative and tasteful. Thank you to Chef Jackie and the staff for a perfect dining experience
