The service was polite and friendly. I ordered a burrito, with no onions. It comes with beef, beans, rice, cheese, guacamole. I received a big warm burrito with extra onions, no cheese and very little guacamole or rice. It could have been epic but it wasn't.

Chiquita seafood truck. Found it parked near the new construction on Miramar and Padgett. Right across the street from that subway. Not as good as last time I eat at this truck. The fish tacos are a little over priced but pretty good. Nice salsas and spicy onions to add to your liking. I got a bunch to go. One of them got missed for the toppings, so just fish and tortilla. We had to get some of the toppings from other tacos to make it work. No time to go back. We also got 2 pulpo enchilado tacos. They tasted delicious but the octopus meat was little chewy. That's never a problem at my usual Mariscos truck. Too bad it's way down on el cajon Blvd. Decent overall experience. Not to many good fish tacos found in the Miramar/Miramesa area.

Chiquita Catering has about six trucks roaming around San Diego serving up holsem Mexican-American food. The trucks come out of a location on Ruffin Court, but they are all over the place and don't spend much time at one location. I happen to run into one of the trucks at 8595 Miralani Dr, at the Carpenters Union and Apprenticeship Center's parking lot during lunch time where the truck shows up at 11am and only remains to about 11:45 am to noon, before it heads of to the next locations. The truck driver "Chelly" and the young lady cooking were both very nice. I ordered a beef birria burrito which came with tender juicy meat that was modestly seasoned. Although the meat was good, I did feel it needed more of those herb, spices, those blended and stewed red chili pods for flavor. The burrito also came with pico de gallo and I added rice which was good. They did forget to put the guacamole it was suppose to come with so I was little bummed about that. The flour tortillas that came with the burrito was very good and the burrito was of good size. They make tortas, burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and breakfast items.

Found this taco truck at the National City Swapmeet. Oh my goodness, the fish tacos were BOMB! So worth spending the $0.50 entrance fee to get into the swapmeet. Do yourself a favor and get some of these delicious $1.00 fish tacos!

By far absolutely the worst food truck I've ever dealt with. The employees have attitude they make their own prices up every single day. How do I pay eight dollars for a quesadilla and a drink and the next day it's 13.50? How do you not have your prices on your truck compared to other food trucks in San Diego that already have prices on the side of the truck for what you're buying. I absolutely where is this truck did not come to my job site

We booked Chiquita Catering for our Saturday night event and when the truck didn't arrive at 5:30PM I called Eddie who answered and said he would find out what was going on. Five minutes later, I called back and straight to voicemail. I was stuck at my event with over 100 hungry people and NO food truck! I confirmed TWICE with Eddie and have written confirmations as well. It would have ruined our event not having food which we publicized on all of our social media! Thank God for Mexico City Cuisine who was catering an event right by us and they ended up finishing their event and turned right around and cooking for our patrons. I don't understand how two confirmations and two conversations leads to no truck and no explanation but a turned off phone! Beyond disappointed in Eddie and how he handled our event. We will never use them again and wanted to warn other businesses that they will not show even with confirmation! Shame on you Chiquita Catering.
