I hear so many great things about Chin's and being the best Chinese in San Diego so I tried the one in Rancho Bernardo. I was not impressed. I'm not sure what people are voting for. Maybe I ordered the wrong dishes or maybe another branch is the one with great food. I'll try one more time.

I have been trying to find a really good wonton soup since Wong's Wok closed a couple years ago, and this place has the best wonton soup I've found since. Been wanting to try this place for a while now and it did not disappoint! Probably the best Chinese food I've had in San Diego! We started with the wonton crisps and crispy chicken dumplings. Then got the Mongolian Beef, Spicy Honey and Sesame Chicken, and Chicken Fried Rice. All were very tasty and good portion sizes. We probably have enough left overs for 2 more meals. The staff were very friendly. This will definitely be our go to place going forward. Can't wait to go back!

I've been coming here since 2015 and I still love it! Their service is always amazing even when it's busy. Their food is always delicious, I don't think I've had more than two issues in the past decade. I don't normally dine in but whenever we do, the service is great as well. Went in for lunch hours. It seems like the restaurant was crowded with near by workers on their lunch break and seniors in that area. Lunch special comes with a cup of hot and sour soup, cucumber salad, fried gyoza and egg roll. It's a good value for quick lunch with your date or the colleagues.

When you get to order takeout and sit down to dinner with mom you pick her brain to see what she's craving. When she lives in Rancho Bernardo and her answer is "I haven't had Chinese in forever," you quickly default to Chin's for a to-go order. We are a few basic bi#&hes, as the kids say. So this was the order...- Broccoli/beef. I told you, basic AF, but some places will still butcher the most basic of meals. Chin's does this right and has been doing so for years. You can tell that they're using better cuts of meat than most and the broccoli doesn't turn into a completely soggy and inedible third-class vegitable. and- The Imperial Dutch Happiness: What a damn name. As the menu states, "select scallops and shrimp sauteed with broccoli, mushrooms, snow peas, and carrots in a garlic white sauce." A great little seafood option that doesn't completely break the bank. Chin's has been a family fave for seemingly my entire "adult" life and a little "comfort" food is exactly what the doctor ordered. I doubt we'll be chowing down on Chin's again soon, but that's okay with me, special things should happen on occasion, not to be worn down by frequency.

The reviews are correct! Chin's Szechwan is the bomb.com! There was 3 of us going out for an early dinner. It wasnt packed at 530 on a Thursday. The outside was a typical mini mall look but the inside had a nice feel n look to it. The Pot Sticker (8) were so good we ordered another order of them! They are handmade and huge! Then we had the house fried rice which was large enough of 3 people. Super flavorful and you can tell freshly made. The pepper beef was good too. But the spicy honey orange chicken was the biggest hit of the dinner!
