The good here is always super yummy and the service is on point. The ambiance is clean and can be romantic if there wasn't too many people. My family love this place and we have been coming here for years. Although I see some staff have changed, the service and food taste hasn't changed at all.

This is my all-time favorite Chinese restaurant. I go here regularly, and I love the woman who runs the place so much! They're always smiling and happy when I see them, and they check in regularly to make sure everything turned out well. I can't say enough good things about this location. I've been to the Oceanside and Vista locations, but this is easily my top choice. As far as the food, it comes out promptly and is always delicious. I recommend the Hunan fish, honey walnut shrimp, or sesame ball soup. I don't think I've had better cooked fish in my life because it always ends up too dry, but this place cooks it perfectly. Also, the tea pairs very well with most dishes. My sisters and I come at LEAST once monthly. I've always wanted to try the duck, but that'll be for a splurge. It's a bit dimly lit, but honestly, my eyes prefer that to the brightness as I get migraines easily, and it feels much more intimate for dinner dates. There's paper lanterns hanging everywhere, and the kitchen is right across from the seating area, but I'm not really bothered by it.Funny enough, I took my (now) boyfriend here on our fourth date, claiming that I would take him to my favorite Chinese restaurant. When we were driving up, he looked at me with exasperation and said that Chin's was also his favorite Chinese restaurant and that him and his mom had been coming here for years. It's funny how things work out!

if you want to dine in and have great Chinese food, this place is the spot! i came here with friends for dinner and the service was AMAZING! they took our orders, gave recommendations, helped with anything we needed AND realized we forgot a toddler's spoon at the table and ran it out to us. food was great! don't sleep on the chicken wings or the sizzling beef. the ambiance is real nice. luxurious tables clothes and cool lighting. could be a romantic spot with the right person

Still don't get why this is only 3.5 stars still. They've always been great for us.Got food to go and it's always ready on time and packaged well.Best pot stickers & cream cheese wantons. Their egg rolls are good (but are more a spring roll). We got the broccoli beef again and it's great. I tried the egg foo young this time and it's really good, but made different than I've had before.

Definitely our go-to Chinese restaurant in Escondido! Whether we go to sit down and enjoy a meal, or order in for delivery, the food is always outstanding! Highly recommend the cashew chicken (my fave, forever and always) and some dumplings! Great service, super cute spot. Go NOW!

Chin's has long been a pillar of solidly mediocre Chinese food in Escondido and since there isn't much of a choice for Chinese food in Esco, I ended up going there once in a while. The meal I just had there didn't even qualify for mediocre. At noon on a weekday we went in. The waiter was pleasant enough. We all ordered lunch specials. Soup came quickly and was OK. The food took a lot longer than than it should have. When it came, the fried rice was fake fried rice. Seemed like it was just rice with soy sauce mixed in. The food was bland and poorly prepared. Don't plan on ever going back again.

I was working out of town for several days in Escondido and wanted to find a good restaurant. The first night I went to Chin's and was very impressed! Large portions, great food, and excellent prices. The service was also very good. I ended up eating at Chin's every night for 3 days. Do yourself a favor and give Chin's a try. You won't regret it.

This place is a family favorite. Everything on their menu is fantastic. I highly recommend the egg flower soup, aka egg drop soup. Honey walnut shrimp is a classic. Red red shrimp is a great change of flavor. Anything you order will be wonderful. My personal favorite dish is the honey mushrooms with pineapples. You can control the level of spice on all your meals. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The green tea comes in a small pot, which adds to the experience. The ambiance is darker but very cozy. Large shareable portions for the whole family to enjoy. We have been loyal customers for 10 years. Love this place so much!

I have no idea how this place has such low ratings. I always order way more than we are going to eat and I can say great authentic Chinese food all around, great service, nice ambiance when you want to hide from the hot summer Escondido sun.I love going to Convoy for Asian eats, but when I can't, this is the place. No place else can compete in the area. Now, if they could only add har gow to the menu..;) a newer place in esco had it but changed their recipe...now it is terrible.
