3.5 stars. Good deal for lunch specials. Chicken and shrimp with eggplant is good. However, bbq pork is made with a American bbq sauce (the kind you get at Jewel)- which is very disappointing l. Smoothies are good. Super nice people - average food.

I've been coming here for over 15 years an somehow didn't review it. It's takeout so can't really review the dining part. I've never used delivery, but when I order by phone it's ready in 10-15 minutes. I think that's crazy fast.I've had lunch special most of the time. I switch it up. All of it is good. About once a month we eat Chinn's as a family dinner. My son loves pot stickers but he also eats them cold out of an ABC convenience store so not sure he is a good judge. My wife loves them as well. Price is still low given the inflation and pandemic.

I work down the street from Chinn's for about 20 years and tried to have lunch there every opportunity. It was such a bargain and the food was so delicious. I don't think the fish could've been fresher if you would've had the meal on the coast or in Hawaii. the prices have gone up a bit so lunch is not quite the bargain used to be, but then again, everybody's prices are gone up I especially like the grouper, and on the rare occasion what I feel like splurging split the crab with my granddaughter.

Dependably average. Nothing will knock you out. Also, as good as the "fish boil" looks, it falls short. If you are craving an egg roll, some hot and sour, you won't be utterly disappointed, but this is not a place anyone will Rave over.

This place has to be the absolute worst Chinese restaurant I've ever had. The food took almost 2 hours for two people too. The bbq pork went straight to the garbage it was similar to bland jerky except more dry with a generic American bbq sauce.The crab Rangoon had no crab.... literally none... could not find it. The he orange chicken tasted like repurposed chicken made yesterday for something else... Pan fried noodles were good but that's just plain pan fried noodles hard to mess that up. Fried Rice tasted like actual fish... haha not sure how they pulled that one off.Egg rolls -you can get the same from frozen ones at a grocery store. Order from wah feng off lake cook way better and the don't use old precooked food. It's fresh.

Door Dash and Chinn's delivered again. Chinn's is your reliable take out Chinese food. The egg rolls, hot and sour soup are delicious. I usually get a shrimp, a beef, chicken and a pork. All arrive hot, well packed and tasty. Nothing special , but consistently good.

We've been there maybe a dozen times. It was always good. Tonight, no good. We had 2 orders of BBQ Pork Fried Rice. Really bad. No egg, no meat, no flavor. We may go back some day. I don't know. It's getting hard to find good Chinese food these days. Very sad. I hope that they can get things back the way it used to be.

Most of the food I had here was simply bland and no flavor. The only thing that somewhat tasted like Chinese food was the eggplant with garlic sauce. And please, all these American Chinese restaurants should stop cooking whatever this crap is and calling it Kung Pao Chicken. Such an insult.

Sub Par. They were okay (3 out of 5) the first two times we ordered. The third time was gross. Unfortunately, we cannot find a decent Chinese restaurant in Buffalo Grove.
