This is a moving food truck . If you find it parked get something it's really good . The prices are not bad either . The portion size is good for the price. The server is very friendly. The vibe around the area is welcoming.

Decent Chinese food that fills your stomach for a cheap price. Perfectly located near MCP for college students and healthcare professionals to enjoy. I just order some random combo and get a plate of sloppy meat, that I'm pretty sure is chicken. They all taste the same basically but one time I got eggplant which is pretty good. It's cheap food and my iron stomach was never upset with me after my meals there, so I assure you will be fine. There are so many variety that sometime when you're lucky you can strike bonus and get a really good meal. Ice cold Chrysanthemum tea is a plus, always. They used to have hot milk tea here, but I've consistently asked and have been consistently turned down now - no more I guess; it was really good :(

I've passed by this truck for 2 years in Longwood Ave...how silly of me to never give it a try until my 3rd year here. There's always a line during noon time. You start to understand why seeing their cheap prices, large variety, and good location. I always get the mapo-tofu with pork here. Inconvenience that it's cash only, but if it means not having to eat MassArt food or making a trek further down to Longwood Galleria, I'll happily deal with it. Their mapo tofu isn't szechuan style or spicy enough, the sauce is generic--as in they could easily use the same sauce in the myriad of other things they serve. The reason why I love this food truck is because it's only a block away from MCP. They have the only decent, hearty lunch with rice that will last me till 6pm++ with evening classes. Another added plus is their customer service. Not only are they fast, but they are generous as well. I wasn't able to get my usual mapo-tofu order there one day and had to opt for another thing off their menu. In addition to my order, I got a complimentary bowl of egg soup to make up for it. It was uncalled for and sweet of them!I wish they could open later than 3. I could really go for some take out back home on some lazy nights.

Decent flavor and authentic chinese food, but the pork was overcooked and rubbery and delivered to me cold. When you pay 9 dollars, you expect to get something decent. At least hot?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and give the "Chinese Kitchen" food truck 4 Yelp stars. These guys are awesome for so many reasons. I think this calls for a list...1. always there, never misses the chance to sell you chicken wings and has been doing so since i went to school here nearly 10 years ago2. most everything on the menu is $5.50 or less3. the food is fresh, not that you really care about that if you are willing to buy chinese food road side out the side of a truck4. the soda's are kept on ice for extra coldness5. side order of chicken fingers, overflowing the container for $3.006. sort of intimidating noodle dishes that never disappoint7. has never given me post bad chinese food gastric anomalies8. good, not over done fried rice - no random egg chunks, peas or pork bits9. willing to give you all the sweet and sour and chop sticks that you really, really need10. food out of trucks is almost never badSo, if you happen to be in the Longwood area and you really want to spend money on lunch that you will enjoy go see the "Chinese Kitchen" chinese food truck guys.

Mapo Tofu came in a bland, gloppy, not-at-all-spicy (!) sauce. If you like your Chinese food without too much of that pesky flavor and with enough corn starch that the sauce is essentially solid, this is your spot. Everybody else, avoid.

Skip breakfast, eat lunch at the Chinese food truck! Believe me, you'll be stuffed! Most things are a little spicy, but I managed to deal just fine and I don't usually like spicy food. Entrees are $5-7, and appetizers are a $1-$3. Cheap, filling, delicious! I like anything with the eggplant, and like many people have said before, you HAVE to try the spring rolls!Ask for chopsticks if you're not asian. If you are asian, you will be given them automatically by the guy working in the truck :)

So after years of working in Longwood and walking by this thing always seeing a line of people I finally gave it a shot. Damn I'm dumb for not doing so sooner.Meals with a can of soda are never more than $6 and are ready in under a minute. They have the typical Americanized Chinese food selections that are good, but don't be fooled by these. They also have an ever changing array of daily specials written on a piece of paper taped on the side of the truck. These seem to be the standouts. Most of the time they have rather boring sounding names, but the meals are as far from plain as you could get served from a truck in under a minute. They also have a wide array of noodle dishes which I have not yet tried, but are on my to try list. The only things that are less than perfect here are cash only & no fortune cookie. I know fortune cookies are totally lame, but I'm so used to having them with Chinese food that I seriously miss getting one.

Not exceptional, but very good. Extremely fast service. Good food run by Chinese employees. Prices include tax and are really reasonable for the amount of food.
