My daughter has performance nearby and I am glad that we came for dinner today! I ordered Peking noodles and it was soooooo good. Very authentic and tasty. And also beef stew noodles. Reasonable price with generous portion. You can find American Chinese food here and also authentic Chinese food. Meat Zong is so big with full of meat, sausage and salty yolk. Very falvorful. Environment is spacious and clean! My daughter asked me to give 10MIllion stars for the review. lol I have recommended this restaurant to other friends. Plus the owner and staff are so nice. After dinner my car failed to start and they helped me jump my car. Very thankful. Will come back soon! thank you for the great food and saved my day!

Update: We stopped by after learning about the change in ownership. You know what changed the most? PRICES. Crazy insane prices for ordinary food and drinks. We had two drinks and were astonished by the bill...good luck with your experience.

I've known Fu for a couple of years now and was excited when he told me he was taking over China Rose. The food and drinks are great, as is the service. The bar area is full of regulars and can be a lot of fun.

Stopped I. For a late lunch when in area .Yelp reviews not positive, but no bad either.Missed the lunch specials at 3 pm and they have an all day dinner selection. Ordered sesame chicken as what in mood for. Came with two sides 1-beef teriyaki, boneless spareribs 6 pieces, fried rice. We'll see the picture... food was awful and won't ever return. I knew things bad when went to use mensroom before meal and no soap?? What is kitchen using to wash or sanitize hands. Fried rice was reheated from days good by. Boneless ribs few cold, and sat all day or from days gone by. Beef teriyaki was refried and was hot and lousy too. The sesame chicken was just sweet and sour chicken sprinkled with few sesame seeds...not sesame flavors in breading or chicken like else where.... Then half the breaded chicken had no chicken in breading...I suspected 4-6 and nothing inside... buyer beware as was total waste of 18.20 hard earned money. Seems only people there were keno and lottery gamblers . I'll never return . I should have bailed when no soap seen in mensroom ...

Giving 5 stars for the excellent service I received!! My experiences are from both Dine-In and Take-Out. I've noticed it has only been Al and the same bartender & food runner/busser working; or at least the times I've come in. As someone who has worked in the food industry, I believe they all handle a busy rush pretty well. The food gets sent out quickly, and it comes hot! The last thing I want to think about while hungry at a restaurant is how long the food is going to take, but never do I have to worry about it here. My favorite dish is the Fruit Shrimp (their version of coconut or honey walnut shrimp). Hot & sour soup tasted as it should. I asked for scallions on the side to pair with it. I wish the Crab Rangoons had less cream cheese, with more onions/scallions--I think the ratio would be perfect after! I had extra scallions on the side from the soup, so I ate it with the Crab Rangoons. Still good. Staff were very on top of getting the check in & out, as well as bussing the table. Awesome job China Rose!

Ever since the new owners bought the restaurant this year the food has been amazing. My husband and I went today and it was the best shrimp and string beans I have ever had! The service was fantastic and Al really knows how to make the patrons feel valued.

Food delivery was messed up. Original time was 8:30pm. Then it changed to 9pm. At 9pm I checked and it said it was delivered at 8:30. Food was bland, bland, bland. The dried fried green beans were not dry fried, they were just regular sautéed. I even asked for extra garlic and ginger, which was not put in.

I recently moved to Wayland and was told by multiple people how great China rose was. I am convinced that they were all drinking and didn't notice how bad the food was. The general tsos chicken was awful and inedible. It was a mix of dark meat chicken chunks and dough. The scallion pancakes had no flavor, the beef teriaki was overly sweet and about as tough as a leather shoe. Save your money, go somewhere else.
