Didn't have a great experience when we went a few Saturdays ago. I understand that DimSum may be a limited cuisine but the women was pretty harsh with us in regards to not knowing their made up rules and schedule. We tried to pivot and order some entrees and after waiting 20 minutes for Tea and BBQ Pork they brought it out cold. Then delivered someone else's plates. We mentioned that we didn't order the fried rice and she picked it up walked around for a bit and then delivered it to the correct table. We canceled the remaining order and was charge for what we ate. Location is all this place is relying on. Building is old, smells like smoke and there is better Chinese in Seattle.

Food was not particularly impressive. Seasonings were bordering on bland.Potstickers were good , chicken lettuce wraps were fine- a bit bland. General Tsos had a very odd sauce, almond chicken was very flattened and was mostly breading. The service was not good, they were understaffed on a Saturday night. We were a party over 6 so were charged 20% gratuity. Water pitcher was not refilled unless asked multiple times, tea was same story. Had to ask multiple times if we could please order- menus Sat on my plate for close to 30 mins, and tried to flag staff but they looked, nodded, then breezed past to take care of order tables (which was frustrating because we were seated before the big rush and neglected ) They were not serving dim sum stating they had ran out, I guess the table next to us was the last table to get any dim sum. The food came out very sporadic- pot stickers cameThen 10 minutes later lettuce wraps, then another 10-15 mins and one main dish would come out, then 10-15 and another main and we honestly got a bit tired of having one dish at a time for our party of 8. It was over an hour from when we first ordered, we were exhausted, and we asked to cancel the last two dishes, they said one was ready and brought it out in a few minutes- and here's the fun part- the last dish was so obviously NOT cooked- you could tell they rushed to cook it (a $24 seafood medley dish) after we had already asked to cancel it. The celery was so raw. I suppose they just wanted to up their profits. Well def don't waste your time- their website says "Seattle Most Acclaimed Asian Restaurant " and that's a load of malarkey. There's soooo many better options locally.Their location and view are great, the rest is way below sub par, but the pricing is quite high. Higher than any other Chinese restaurant I've been to. The interior is super dated and there's lots of areas of clutter- this place definitely needs to be fully emptied, deep cleaned, and then only necessary objects brought back in. Definitely will not be coming back.

This is one of those places that you drive by so many times but have never made the time to actually walk inside and see what it is. China Harbor has been around since 1994! The location is in beautiful Eastlake on the water, too! I love me a beautiful view while I'm eating yummy food Usually this restaurant is BUSYYYY , but we went on a weekday and there was barely anyone there. I called ahead and the staff said they usually have all dim sum on the menu if you come before 1pm, otherwise they sell out of certain dishes. Every food item was delicious, and it was my first time have truffle on shu mai . Yelp has this place at 3 stars but let me tell you it was so much better! Please give this place a chance the next time you're craving Chinese food

I came into town for a conference and wanted something different from my usual Duke's meals...I found China Harbor and decided to take the bus to get some Chinese food, little did I know it was this giant black building I had seen in the past and almost joked that it was a surprising Chinese food place (that i had never been to before)-- waterfront and all!I got seated by a window overseeing the boats in Lake Union while the rain fell.I ordered the Imperial Duck and the Pan Fried Noodles with Seafood. The noodles came out piping hot, a piece or two of the squid was a scoche chewy but the scallops and shrimp were just right. Crispy noodles drowned in the gravy and soaked up all the flavor and the bok choy perfectly cooked with a slight crispiness left to it. The only thing I would change is less squid (there was a lot) and maybe replace with some fish instead. The imperial duck - amazing. This was the first time I'd had it with glazed lemon slices and peanut butter-hoisin sauce. They even provided chives, cilantro, radish strip and cucumber - what a heavenly combo. I ate half there and took the rest back to my hotel I was so full and my belly was so happy.Servers were extremely nice and friendly, I will definitely be back with family to get more imperial duck next visit!!

This was a great spot by the water to get dim sum. We ordered pork shu mei, steamed and baked bbq buns, shrimp dumplings, spare ribs, chive/shrimp/pork dumplings, Chinese broccoli, low mein noodles, and radish cake. It was delicious and we all were super quiet as soon as all the food arrived and it didn't fit on the table. This is for a party of 5 but we did get good views of the water which is one of the main reasons we went.Parking was plentiful but this was also on a Sunday and it was free.

It was my first visit to China harbor. It was beautiful to see all the boats on the water and had a wonderful, festive decor. My friends ordered the Peking duck which came with crystallized lemons. I have not had those before with my duck, and they were delicious. We also also ordered the hot and sour soup, walnut shrimp, and garlic pea vine. All of it was absolutely fabulous!

If I could I would rate a zero. Do NOT book your weddings or any event at this place. Disloyal and untrustworthy. Quoted my wedding for a weekday after speaking about the event for 2 weeks. Wanted $4k more for the venue fee and clearly it was already in the original quote. Wasted my 2 weeks where I could've looked at other venues. I never write negative reviews but this one was definitely needed!!!

I'm not sure people realize that China Harbor has changed management and now has a really solid dim sum menu. I liked it much better than Din Tai Fung and Dough Zone, plus it was less crowded for Sunday brunch and has amazing views. Portions were much larger than expected, and prices were really reasonable for Seattle. Service was truly awful, but they at least apologized for the wait and mixup with our order, which is honestly better than most places in Seattle. It's a shame that they don't have a real drink menu, because I would love to come for happy hour with their view.Highly recommended.

Windows were super filthy with hand prints and bird stains, which is too bad since the view is the main draw. The dim sum was mediocre. We ordered seafood chow mein noodles and it was completely tasteless, and the server told us that's the way it's supposed to taste. Too bad. We won't be back.

Very underrated American style Chinese Restaurant. It has everything that you needed.I do have to say, they've kept the place clean in every way they could hence once you walked in, you can smell the Lysol spray. All chairs are lined up and table were set perfectly. Table tops were cleaned with Windex, my goodness, I don't even wipe my own table with windex. But maybe from previous review they've stepped up the game?!Food is pretty good! Proper Canton Dim Sum. For one thing, all server speaks Cantonese, so that's legit. Portion is definitely lean towards large. It fulfilled my 3 big boys appetite and they were super happy as it is quite close to their school and could order delivery. One side note, this restaurant go up my list is because they have the Christian music playing on the back which is just super cute. Everyone was just very grateful and thankful to serve us.
