China City

We had a wonderful dinner at China City, in Oak Harbor Wa. Honestly we were not expecting such an upscale place. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. Our dinners were delicious, We had the Happy Family Sizzling Platter and the House Hofun.Our waiter was efficient, but not intrusive. Highly recommend this restaurant. Also they have the best takeout boxes I've ever seen.

But besides that service was great, food was a hit with our hungry crew.

Variety to choose from but not too much. ordered combo #1 too share with plenty leftover to take.

We are on a happy hour mission in Oak Harbor. So every Friday we try a couple of locations looking for our haunts. To us a good happy hour location has a good selection of appetizers and drinks. Ideally something that isn't standard pub fare. We ordered lumpia, edamame, pot stickers and lettuce wraps for our group. The wraps and pot stickers were excellent, the edamame salt less and lumpia, while good, wasn't great. They have happy hour specials and we all found drinks we liked. Overall one of the better happy hour locations in Oak Harbor!

Food and service were both excellent. Good portions, enough for sharing. Prices reflect the quality of food you'll receive.

Super Yummy . If you're looking for some high-quality, delicious and not too pricey, this is the place the restaurant inside is absolutely beautiful from the moment you pull into the parking lot as you're walking up the stairs and greeted by the beautiful statues of Buddha the pagodas are on each side as you enter, the Buddha is extending his hand with wealth, health and prosperity.

Stopped in for the first time at China City in Oak Harbor, Washington and was pleasantly surprised at how nice and elegant the restaurant is. The service was fast and friendly and the food choices came out promptly. Also the food was very delicious, we'll certainly be back .

Terrible takeout. Everything was soggy and gloopy; my husband feels ill after eating the mandarin chicken. Way over priced at 20 dollars a plate for small portions and a rice up-charge.

Had the place mostly to ourselves on a Friday night at 7:30 during the off-season, I guess. Yet the food was fresh, authentic and well prepared. We were served warm beers to begin with, but the staff was very apologetic and immediately replaced them with some ice cold beverages. Lounge atmosphere was very well designed and cozy. You can see the TV from every seat. Definitely recommend this place.
