Was craving Asian food and liked that this place offered Chinese and Thai food so I stopped by. I ended up going 100% Thai on my order though because it looked great.My order consisted of Tom kha , Pad siew, and mango sticky rice. The Tom kha was delicious and loved the taste of lemon grass! The pad siew was good but I would like it more if it had more of that deep soy flavor I'm used to. The mango sticky rice was honestly so good and wanted to order another one. It came out before my food and I couldn't wait to eat it. The people there are very friendly and the place itself was very clean. Nice calming spot to grab a bite to eat in the area!

Stopped here quickly for some Mango Sticky Rice and a Thai tea - to go.The cashier was busy helping out another customer when we walked in so we stood in line. There was a couple who was sitting down waiting for their to go orders and there was a few people dining in, so it was pretty busy.Once our turn, the cashier quickly took our order and rang us up. We paid about $18 for the drink and sticky rice. The Thai tea was really good. Not too sweet and not too bland, it was just right. The rice was a hit. It was shaped in a cute heart like design and the mango was cut into slices. The mango itself was delicious. It was very sweet!The inside is clean and spacious. Overall, I must come back and try our their food entrees!

Is it wrong to say, you should GO HERE NOW if you want thai? I say yes. I didn't try any Chinese dishes, which well there is some variance. You can go Wok with an assortment of options; another topic I can't recall with options or just aim for thai.The spouse went with the yellow curry dish. She requested no potatoes but more veggies. Slam, she got it. Fresh full slit red and green pepper. The spice level was good and she loves the dish. If you want hotter I surmise you can request when you order. I went drunken noodles with chicken and shrimp. Finally a place that serves good size shrimps in a dish, and not the micro version kind. Again, nice spice level, but I might go just slightly higher, I suspect it would still deliver flavor. I'm a medium level guy.We went lunch special here and the servings can easily cover two meals.Yummy!

China Basil has become my partner and I's new favorite Chinese restaurant! We've ordered take out from them a few times and it always hits the spot. My go to has been the delicious teriyaki chicken bowl though I've also tried the sesame chicken which is good as well. My partner always orders the honey crispy chicken which he raves about. The servings are a great size, and the staff are very friendly every time we drop in. We highly recommend China Basil!

This spot was pretty good. It is next to Defalcos in South Scottsdale. Generally, one scratches the head when they do two countries food in the same restaurant. We only had Thai takeout, and it was authentic and good with the flavors. Pad Thai and chicken fried rice were both solid.
