There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in this town, but this one does stand out and is worth making a point to visit.THE ROSES: First and foremost are the margaritas; this place makes arguably the most honest Margarita in town. The proprietor boasts that his are 85% tequila, while most places are 50 - 50 tequila and mixer. These 'ritas are very smooth and satisfying! The restaurant is clean and the food is well-prepared and tasty. Service is also friendly and efficient.THE THORNS: Only street parking, and being it's in Wallingford, that can be hard to come by in the evenings.THE VERDICT: Great place to have a good stiff 'rita (or two?) and some tasty munchies after work. Recommend.

Intimate space. Personalized service. Authentic dishes. The guacamole is crazy good. Doesn't matter if you want a mango margarita or a lime margarita because both are delicious. This is a great spot to go for a good Mexican dinner.

I ordered mole pollo and my friend got a super nachos. We don't really like what we had. The super nachos is a bit flaky. I personally prefer sweet mole and the one I ordered is not close to what I expected. Despite all that, the restaurant owner was amazingly friendly and kept asking if we want margaritas or tequila. The outdoor seating at the restaurant would be a good choice for an amazing date.

I was walking to another restaurant when the smell wafted from these windows my way. I turned around and decided to give this place a chance, being Mexican myself I am extremely picky with Mexican restraunts. I am obsessed now, so flavorful and authentic the chicken in the flautas were packed with flavor and the salsa on top was just the cherry on top. I also tried the Chili Guajillo and honestly, it was better than my grandmas! I highly recommend.

This is the spot to be. Incredible food, tasty margaritas (I recommend the mango chile), and the kindest and friendliest owner who literally runs it all by himself. He's the man for real. I don't know how he does it but he's obviously a master or a wizard of some kind.I can't recommend this place enough. Great spot for date nights or really any day of the week. You will never be disappointed.

The service, the food, the cleanliness. A quaint little Mexican restaurant hidden in Wallingford. You won't regret this visit!!!!

Authentic, basic, yummy Mexican food. The margs are delicious. Very solid place to eat, won't disappoint! Nothing crazy but perfect at what they do.

Chile rellenos were very good, but my dining companions were not particularly impressed with the flautas or enchiladas. The restaurant was understaffed on a Sat night, and the server told my party and the parties that arrived after us that it would be at least a 10-20 minute wait to take our orders.If I'm craving chile rellenos in the future, I will get them from this restaurant but as a takeout order called in ahead of time.

What a great little spot with terrific service, friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this cute and clean spot and look forward to introducing my friends to it!!!
