Great food- great service. This hidden gem has been a go to spot for awhile for my family. We normally sit at the sushi bar and order sushi. The real star is the calamari. It's tempura batter and has some seasoning on top that is out of this world. She sushi is great. Always fresh and tasty!!!The prices are very reasonable compared to other local places. The service is great. Always friendly and remember us as familiar faces. Stop on by and try the sushi and don't forget the calamari. You won't be disappointed!!!

A tasty Asian food spot!While visiting a friend in Nashville, we were recommended Chikuyo Tei for dinner! We had the crazy roll, spicy tuna roll, steak hibachi, edamame, and miso soup.Everything was average but tasty! The spicy rolls had just a little hint of spice, and the steak was a bit chewy. They did unfortunately forget the fried rice that comes with the hibachi so that was a bit of a letdown. The worker that helped us pick up or to go order was very friendly! The restaraunt was clean. Pro tip: do not order from them on DoorDash! The prices are $2-4 higher!

I found this place on yelp and ordered the steak hibachi for takeout. The portion sizes were great, they gave me soup and salad in addition to the food. I had also ordered a side of udon noodles which were bland. Overall the portion sizes were really good but the taste just wasn't there. There were also pieces of chicken and shrimp with my hibachi which was odd because I only ordered the steak hibachi. The owner also advised me not to order online again? I think they have to pay fees for online orders or something so I said I wouldn't do it again lol

Absolute delight find. I didn't expect this place to have sushi and have been to two others around the area in search of finding a great neighborhood sushi spot; the others were let downs, so search continued, and this place was on the list. Learned my lesson from the last ones to check the menu out, which had some variety. Not all California rolls with other toppings. Sooo much better than the other places I've tried in the area, and I will be a regular. Super fresh. Great cuts and presentation, super friendly staff. The sushi chef seems to truly like his craft & hospitality. They can only serve beer on the adult beverages which is a bummer but everything else here is really great sushi and service wise.

We have this local fair near the house. We have eaten both at the restaurant and order in as well, every time we eat here it never disappoints. I got the Chicken LO Meinand my husband gets sushi. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the lo mein had just enough of the vegetables as well. I highly recommend this place.

We were in Nashville visiting some friends and decided to go out for some sushi. We found this place and it was obviously busy and short handed but our waitress hustled and got everyone taken care of. We ordered their large sushi combo and some rolls and appetizers on the side. They were busy so it was a bit of a wait but the sushi was wonderful and the presentation was on point. If you're in the hermitage area and looking for some sushi, give this place a shot.

This food is AMAZING and fresh! Best Asian food around. LOVE! Lacks atmosphere. If that's important to you this is not the best place. The lights are BRIGHT and the music is an Asian mix, not relaxing, and is VERY LOUD. So loud I asked them to turn it down. It was music with birds chirping. If you only care about great food, try this place!

We had visited your restaurant last Friday evening, a party of four, to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were turned away because of the change in the $32.99 all you can eat menu, which was not advertised- switching from every day to just weekdays. We returned Monday, to celebrate my husband's birthday around 5:40 PM. We did not receive our meals until after 7:50 PM. We waited almost 2 hours. The waitress was very stressed out at the sushi chef and kept checking on our order multiple times. We had our small infant with us and had to keep passing him around to keep him entertained while we waited for our food. Every other patron of the restaurant that entered after us, received their food, ate, paid, and left before we even received our meals. It was absolutely horrible customer service. We tried to cancel our order and leave so we could go eat fast food we were so hungry and irritated from waiting. We were so hungry, but the sushi chef stated that he had already begun our meal at that time we asked to cancel so we could leave and it will be ready in five minutes. It still was not ready in five minutes, and he again took two orders from different patrons ahead of us. It was a terrible experience, a disappointing birthday dinner, and honestly makes us feel we should not return and let others know of the horrible service we received.

First time there. Nice place to eat. I could only eat a third of what I ordered. Service well done. Cleared plates as needed cause the table can get crowded with what you ordered. We'll go again next time I'm town.
