Chicken Factory

I visited Chicken Factory not only because I had a craving for spaghetti, which I discovered on their menu, but moreover because Upside, a cash back application offered a 6% cash back offer on purchases. With that and because of it being so close to me at the time it was hard to pass up.Chicken Factory itself sits along a highly driven on Roosevelt Rd, right across from Edward Hines, Jr. Veteran Affairs Hospital. And the parking lot itself is shared with a few other businesses, like Cricket, and a Beggars Pizza location. During this visit, it made my evening as a wrestling fan to walk inside to World Wrestling Entertainment Smackdown being shown on their television in the dining area. I have to admit, it surely had a positive influence on the rating I intended on leaving for Chicken Factory, plus it led to interactions with the employees. I was given plenty of time to search the menu for alternatives, outside of spaghetti! I had every intention of ordering two sides of it until it was mentioned that it was made with meat sauce rather than marinara. Aye yi yi! It was then I took another look at the menu and the display, and ended up ordering a mac and cheese along with a small order of fries. After mentioning that I was a vegetarian, the employee mentioned that it is funny that I visited a place solely known for chicken. I responded with "I did my research beforehand! And most places (those known particularly for meat), I tend to go for the sides". I honestly felt that I anticipated my wait time to be shorter being that I ordered just fries, and a mac and cheese. Thanks to WWE Smackdown being on the television, it made the wait feel less excruciating. As for the food, the mac and cheese was satisfying; and the fries were fresh, yet average! However, I was given a satisfying portion being the fact that it was a small order of fries. Honestly, I could have gotten a much satisfying combination like mac and cheese, and fries elsewhere and cheaper! I could very well re-visit and order from Chicken Factory again, but it would likely be for either of the desserts that caught my eye in the display (taffy grapes, cheesecake, homemade cakes, etc.) ,tehehe. A coworker out of the blue treated me to an order of wings with sauce coleslaw and fries and my oh my did I enjoy it! Food was fresh hot & tasty. Service was quick and efficient. I'm looking forward to many years of business with Chicken Factory as they are not likely to disappoint.

Salad is too overpriced for the size. I ordered a grilled chicken salad which was $11.99 which didn't even have much chicken at all. and they charged .99 for the dressing. Picture shown has napkin as reference.

I stopped here because a friend of mine spoke so highly about the fried fish come a to find out, it was some of the best fried fish on the west side. Not over seasoned, and the non dairy butter cookies are the truth. Restaurants aren't that great as of late, they are employed by people that a show up I guess. But their passion(s) aren't cooking, you can tell in the product. I'm not saying that's the case in Chicken Factory, I'm speaking majority of these establishments are just not good. I

Tasty food at a reasonable price. I suggest you call and place your order in advance so that it is ready when you get there. The lobby area is very small and does not have a lot of room for waiting patrons.

I had a great taste for some really good fried chicken, so I decided to try CHICKEN FACTORY on Roosevelt Road in Maywood. Today was actually my 2nd visit, but I was definitely not disappointed. I ordered a two-piece breast chicken dinner that comes with French fries, bread and coleslaw. It was awesome! The chicken was cooked well, juicy on the inside, crunchy on the outside (NOT burnt); The fries were crunchy, and the coleslaw was very tasty.While they do offer five different toppings, I just liked mine plain. There are several other places in the area that I've tried for fried chicken in the past, but this was by far the best I've had in a very long time. They also offer fried fish, shrimp, and other sides and extras that I have yet to taste. It's basically a take-out place and it's very clean. Oh! And the staff are really nice people, too! So when you do go there, tell Patrine and LaShawn where you heard about their place...and that Mary K. said "Hi!".

Finally opened ( Tinley park location ) Great service, about the food , everyone should try it.....,Nice decoration .

Tasty good ChickenI always go here when I want some good ole fried chicken. The staff is nice and respectful and the food is good.

I called up my order today and told them that I had a groupon for a sandwich and a drink. I asked if I could get the double cheeseburger. She said no burgers. Then I asked if I could get the poor boy steak and she said no so I decided to get the poor boy chicken. When I got there, the lady there told me that I owed over $2 in change. Because my Groupon she thought was a coupon and it was for free. I explained to her that I paid for the Groupon and she didn't seem to care. She was very argumentative and combatitive. She said to me after talking with her. She said that she'll accept it this time, but never again. She said she was the manager there. And I asked her name she said I'm not giving to my name. She asked me my name and I told her my name, but she refused to give me her name ...with my Groupon. I was supposed to get a drink. She didn't ask me what I wanted to drink. She just reached into cooler. Grab a pop and gave it to me without asking well, I'm never gonna be going there again and I think that the owner should have a heart-to-heart with this woman. She said she's been the manager there for 2 years. And she was very ignorant and I will never go back there. I'd like to try to talk to the owner. And explain to him the situation. Very bad management..

Got the Jack Salmon dinner. The fish was dry and overcooked with hardly any seasoning. Customer service was fine but my fish was underwhelming. I may go back to try the chicken but it's meh
