Chicken Charlie's

Located at the northern edge of Belmont Park, this Chicken Charlie's is a take-away stand featuring a variety of fried foods including frog's legs and slipper lobster tails. There are corn dogs, fried chicken, and other fried fare. We had the slipper lobster tails with onion rings. This was a fun treat for an amusement park afternoon but the most expensive item at $24.95. I also had to wait about 5 minutes at the counter for someone to come out to take my order.

When my gf was pregnant with our first son they served her uncooked chicken at the fair in San Diego . The chicken seemed like they just dunked it without properly timing it. They didn't seem to care to much . We don't eat here anymore! Check your food when at a place that serves food in high volume . Quality and safety should be number 1 Always!!!!!!

We have gone here before for Happy Hour but today we had lunch . The service was poor at best and the food was not delivered as ordered . We were ignored by staff even though there were 4 of them and only 4 groups of people to serve. If you wanted a drink expect to wait 30 minutes. I have no idea what the servers were doing but spending time behind doors. If you weren't in their section the others dismissed you. My daughter who was joining us said she never was served by ruder personnel. We come weekly but doubt we'll come again.

Had the nastiest dessert I've ever tasted it was a pbj in some disgusting sauce deep fried with more disgusting sauce on it with stale fruity pebbles.
