Aural Fixation group accommodation was fast and accurate. Great service! Delicious food! Lovely ambiance! Will be back.

The food was tasty and authentic and the service was exceptional. We were really made to feel welcome and appreciated. We went on a Sunday late afternoon and it was quite busy. We were given an estimate of 30-60 minutes for seating, but the post-church crowd was finishing up and we were actually seated within 15 minutes. The chicken and waffles were delicious and the gravy-drenched chicken a couple of people in our party ordered was especially tasty.The waiter was very helpful in managing the food and appropriate water cups for the two toddlers with us. We used to live in Chicagoland and visited the Oak Park location many times. This was a nicer and more family-friendly experience.

Sunday brunch was nice! Walked in to the busy restaurant and was informed of the wait, then luckily we were able to find two seats at the bar. There were several TVs for viewing Sunday Football, although the game I requested a couple of times was not tuned in. I got the bottomless mimosas with my meal. I had the salmon dinner with sides--collard greens, mac n cheese, and red beans and rice. I was happy the side dishes did not contain pork. The food was delicious and worth the wait!Parking was paid in the rear of the restaurant or free at the Walgreens across the street. I didn't really trust parking across the street, so I paid. Minus the wait time to be seated and for food, it was a great experience. I enjoyed good food and the bartender for holding me down on the flavored mimosas!

My second time here and both times I've absolutely enjoyed myself and the food! The staff was very attentive and nice throughout our dining experience, the ambiance is nice with soft R&B playing in the background and nice lighting! This is a place where you can dress up/down. There isn't a dress code; however, most people dress up like in a brunch style attire.My first time visiting I had the fried chicken which was moist and perfectly seasoned. This time I went with the fried catfish, which had a nice crunch, was delicious, and had a golden brown breading. Both times I've had the strawberry lemonade which is my go to and for sides: collard greens (SO GOOD!), candied yams (perfect just like somebody grandma in the kitchen), and the macaroni and cheese (very cheesy and delicious!) Overall, the portions are big and the price matches it. I HIGHLY recommend this place and bringing a friend or two with you! If you're a lover of soul food, look no further! P.S., my husband opted for brunch and thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well!

Amazing! I went on a Sunday right after the church the first time. So we had an hour or so wait. The next time I went was Sunday but later in the day around 4pm. We got seated within 10 mins. Both times the food was amazing, the staff was very helpful as they explained to us how long they wait may be as well as seating options. I love the decor, art, and how they celebrate birthdays. And of course I'll be going back.

Second time trying this place and it was great! The first time was okay (my server was all over the place and seemed frazzled. Kept telling sarcastic jokes that weren't funny and borderline rude. The kitchen was slower the first time too) but the food was good so I was open to giving it another try. This second time service was efficient and the staff members were super hospitable. Nice playlist and ambiance too. Food was phenomenal both times. Didn't have to pay for parking either time nor was there a long wait.

Love seeing new places in Nashville! Food was delicious and costumer service was great! The aesthetics were unique and a vibe in itself!

Chefs kissVisited this establishment while in town from Florida!! Everything was phenomenal!! Customer service was top tier from the hostess to the bubbly waitress. I can't wait to visit again when I am in town!!

Service was great, Mike was the waiter. The restaurant was nice and had a good vibe. Food was okay but it was breakfast food served at night. My only issue is they don't specify that you pay for each thing you want thats listed on the menu for example the skillet meal you have to pay extra for anything out side of an egg bacon and potatoes (the vegetables). Other than that, good experience (which you are actually paying for)

My sister and I checked this place out, and very glad we did. The ambiance is so cute and modern w a classic twist. Food made it even better! Will be back!
