The Barbeque Zone

THIS Leon's brought back that old school flavor & feel. They nailed the recipes, quality & flavors of the original Leon's barbaque. This location is clean (Which the originals never were) and also has drive thru service so you don't even need to exit your vehicle. The location on Archer is equilly tasty BUT the place is much smaller & the quality isn't the same. Also there's no drive thru. Haven't tried the newer location on 63rd.

What prevents me from giving my favorite BBQ place on the planet 5 stars??? How can the most genuinely honest rib tips I've ever tasted not tip the scales all the way for me??It's because you can only get french fries as your side. Nothing else can be substituted and so it's essentially a missed opportunity for me to have an even better meal. Why not throw me some slaw or a salad option? Maybe even grill some corn or mix up some bacon and green beans. At the very least, offer some traditional baked beans and stick them in a cup with a spoon.Just do something more than you currently are.

Why is this place still using the name Leon's. I went for a tip and link combo and couldn't be more let down. I ordered I. The drive thru and was surprised that my food was handed to me right after I paid for it. I pulled off and opened up my bag and the first rib tip that I pulled out the bag three minutes after being handed the food was cold. How can you serve anything that has a cold price of meat in it. Don't get me wrong some of it was warm but nothing was piping hot. I won't be back. I asked if it was still Leon's and they said it was.

The place was easy to get to bright and clean and smelled amazing! We ordered the jumbo rib tips, hot link and wings that all came with french fries. The meat was fantastic for the rib tips but that BBQ sauce just ruined it for us. We had the hot BBQ sauce on everything but the chicken wings that was mild. For me it tasted like a spicy ketchup...I hate ketchup. I wanted the sauce to be like something you'd find at Hogwild in Midlothian or Bombers sauces in Munster - but it just tasted awful. I'm not sure we would go again because of it. It's such a shame because I'm sure it popular with folks but this was not a flavorful BBQ sauce. Just tasted like a ketchup and mustard-tasting sauce. Also where were the traditional BBQ sides? -Mac and cheese, baked beans or greens? This place not it has none of that only macaroni salad and coleslaw. I'm giving it a 3 stars because the meat quality is good, we just wanted to wash off the barbecue sauce which is usually the thing you're asking for more of at a great barbecue place. Oh well will have to try another place.

I'm going to say that their bbq is solid. The service is quick and friendly. I don't think there is anything better in the neighborhood. I'll be having more bbq from here.

Fabulous! Meaty ribs fall off the bone. Tender chicken & crispy fries. The sauce is exceptional! Don't pass this place by and come hungry. Food is served fast & very affordable.

It's a Brand New Spanking BBQ Restaurant. It has a sportive interior decor. with pro. sport team's memorabilia. The place is equipped with a couple of LCD and or LED TVs making it a very comfortable place to dine in. The restaurant has a fast drive-thru with a wonderful service. It's Cash only however, they have an ATM. I believe the BBQ is cooked on wood (its visible when ordering) that is why it has a distinctive smoked taste.Also you can have a combination of both mild and spicy BBQ sauce on the mouth watering wings, legs and rib tips at no extra cost.

Small ass portions,expensive as hell -fake Leon's ,quality went down.rather drive to the real Leon's bbq spot,valen verga!

This is one of the most unprofessional place I have ever been too I called at 7pm when the website and system says they close at 10 i was having a party and was going to order a big order to satisfy my family and no closed the guy answered and he said we close in 5 mins so I called back to order and no answer very disrespectful and so unprofessional terrible service I would not doubt they would go out of business why would you deny money especially in these times smh terrible

I've been a local here since it has opened and the girl taking the order is very fckin rude. Instead of saying "is there anything else" she says "pull to the front" after every single item i was ordering. I wasn't done ordering and she very rudely kept cutting me off. Then I ask for an extra order of fries and she says "NO, we don't have enough" instead of "I'm sorry we're out of fries". There is no kind of basic etiquette here. And when i pull up to the window she re-asked all these questions about my order, had she not rushed me when ordering she wouldn't have to continue to ask what i had. And then the girl in the kitchen was so loud swearing cuz they didn't have anymore tenders. Swearing loud enough about the customers order that they can hear you is ignorant. The worst customer service. Find new workers because with these ignorant asses you're going to lose customers.
