solid food with very nice staff and a cute enough space conveniently right down the street from my apartment. Lakeview in general suffers from a lack of Indian food options, so it's great to see this open up and Cumin (Indian/Nepalese) coming later this year. we started with the pav bhaji and then had some garlic naan with the kashmiri pulav rice that was so very good, along with two of the typical chicken dishes and took some gulab jamun to go (my fav Indian dessert!). excited to go back and have some more non-standard options on the menu.

Solid and consistent food. We have only ordered delivery, but see there is a new Belmont location we might try in person. Chicken Saag - chicken is a bit dry. Wish they still had the Saag Paneer, but they took it off the menu. Chicken Chettinad - perfectly lightly spicy. Paneer Butter Masala - tried this, it's got good sauce but didn't prefer the texture of this paneer. We tried this in place of my much loved Saag Paneer, but that was recently removed from the menu. We always get the fried appetizers and the chicken biryani and a Chicken Tikka Masala for this kids.

I got the Madras Lamb Korma delivery and it was delicious. It came with an order of rice. It was a great dish, pretty spicy but not too spicy.We also ordered the garlic naan which was tasty as well.

We love going to Rangoli for an intimate meal. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming. It's BYOB and the service is quick to bring you a beer or wine glass when they see you ambling in with that black bag from the liquor store down the street.Love, love, love the lamb korma and lamb vindaloo. Honestly, I've never had anything here that I didn't like. The portions are filling, the biryani is bigger than your head, and do not sleep on the spicy pickles! All of the veg-only dishes are all stars as well.The raita is really flavorful which I often need when I take a breath from eating vindaloo non-stop. I really love it here, and the staff is super cool.

Just ordered takeout on a rainy day. The food was well packaged and still warm on arrival. Ordered lamb korma, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and basmati rice. The entrees were underwhelming more like a flavored soup -- very skimpy on the proteins and meat was chewy and dry. The garlic naan and rice were good - very much needed to soak up the soupy entrees.

A group of us came here for an early dinner, and we were seated at a table by the window - the restaurant itself is nicely decorated, but I was a little weary since there were no other diners besides our party. Most seem to get their orders to-go.The menu included both vegetarian and non-vegetarian appetizers and dishes, seafood items and lamb items, rice entrees, breads, desserts, and drinks.We ordered:+the Rangoli Platter - this came with 2 samosas, pakoras, tandoori chicken, and 2 seek kabobs; there were four of us, and we were able to split it up where everyone had a sample; the samosas were on the spicier end, and the tandoori chicken was actually pretty tasty in terms of the spices; I just wished that the whole thing came out sizzling hot, as it was served on an iron skillet+Chicken Tikka Masala - this was forgettable, as while it had a tomato-based flavor, it was still bland and lacked the spices+Lamb Vindaloo - this was a favorite among the group, as it was a nice thick curry style; it was definitely on the spicier end, but could have been more spicier+Chana Masala - not the best chana masala I've had; could have been more thicker and more flavorfulRangoli has another location on Clark.Service was kind and friendly, but there was also some requests that were lost in translation (asking for hot sauces, ice with our water, etc.).There is restricted street parking around the area, so mind the signs.I'm glad I was able to check this place out, but not sure I'd go out of my way to return.+kind and friendly staff+reservations accepted+limited restricted street parking in the area

Food and service are excellent. The only problem that annoyed me was the dozens of food delivery drivers coming in the front door, disturbing the dining vibe for all the customers.My suggestion to the owners is have all your delivery pickups in the rear, this will be a better experience for those who are dining up frontLooking forward to coming back again soon!

Got chicken biryani. This is not biryani. This is just unflavored white rice packed around some chicken. I'd give it one star had it not been for the actual bursts of flavor as my fork gets closer to the center.
