It was our first time trying out Paik's noodle. It was a great spot to try out. We were dining in and decided on getting three dishes to try. The service was great and fast. She was so nice and even gave us more side dishes. The ambiance is pretty nice for a date spot. The noodles were a great texture. They do give you scissors to cut the noodles since they are really thick and stuck to one another. The honey shrimp were jumbo size and we got about 8 pieces. The sweet and sour pork were great! The pork has a thin coating which is then fried til crisp! Everything was served as they came out of the kitchen piping hot and ready to eat. Overall, I enjoyed the spot and would come again!

Meh-Food is ok, easy quick convenient to grab Korean Chinese food. Would only do take out, due to air quality inside the restaurant.

We came here because SGD said their kitchen was closed. We thought it was just ok. We ordered the dumplings but it didn't look like the picture on the wall. It was decent - I prefer the ones next door at SGD. The mayo shrimp was nice and large and it was a bit sweet. The spicy shrimp was spicy which was nice. The best dish was probably the noodles with beef and veggies. I love the cabbage and didn't eat the beef. The noodles were good. The broth was flavorful. It was hard to get someone to help give us a fork or a bowl but other than that, it was fine.

We have been coming to dine in often but I see that I have not updated my last review. Food is consistently good, sometimes breading is overpowering on fried meat, but overall all food is good here.

We got 1. Jajangmyeon2. Tangsuyuk - sweet and sour pork3. Chili Saeu - fried shrimp in spicy chili sauces4. Gochu Jjamppong - spicy seafood noodle soup with spicy chili peppersI love the combination of fried meats with these Korean noodles dishes. I'm normally not the biggest fan of sweet and sour sauces but these were executed so well. Perfectly cooked and crispy pork/shrimp covered in tasty sauces. Flavor and texture of the noodle dishes were top notch. Portion sizes of everything was good.Service was excellent. We had dress clothes on and they lent us aprons. Lots of seating inside but not cramped together. I'll definitely come back.

Still thinking about how delicious this meal was! My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner that we ordered as takeout. First time here and didn't know what to order. When I asked the woman at the cashier some recommendations, she was incredibly nice and helpful. Ordered spicy wings and although not spicy the little bit of sauce on them was flavorful. The noodles were incredible with lots of pieces of meat and served up for 2. It was an extremely big portion. Can't wait to order from here again!

A small but cute food restaurant located in Glenview in a small plaza. I've told that their noodles are very authentic Korean noodles and it turned out to be true!We went for food on a Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of people but still got seats. We had the spicy seafood soup, the jjangjaemian and the japeonh noodle. The spicy noodles were truly spicy and the broth was very umani with squid and mussels. All dishes were packed with veggies which I liked! The noodles were chewy and tasty. They also have a variety of appetizers, but glad we didn't order it since the portion of the noodles are already really big!! We were so full and delighted after this meal, and would like to come back to try other items on the menu next time.

6pm on Labor Day weekend Sunday. It was busy. Had to wait a while to be seated but not too terrible. Maybe about ten minutes wait.Once seated, everything was fast. Most of the other tables were Korean. Server took our order in Korean. Not sure if they can take orders in English. But the service was good and fast even when they were so busy. Had to refill pickled radish and onions one time and it was not difficult to get one of the servers attention. We got tangsuyuk (fried pork with sweet and sour sauce) and jjajangmyeon (black bean sauce noodle) to share. Portions are huge to share so don't order too much! The fried pork was really crispy but also chewy, with sweet rice breading overing the pork. Black bean sauce noodle was really good as well, just like the ones I used to have when living in Korea.

Checked out this place in Glenview after seeing it pop up when looking for Asian. It's a place that seemingly has lots of items featuring noodles. Paik's Noodle is a Korean restaurant. Has lots of items with noodles but has a problem about it. There's not much of choices for vegetarians as far as proteins. Has a pretty hectic atmosphere. If they're working so hard, why does it take so long to get the food? They're lacking in choices for vegetarians. It's $12 for Vegetable Fried Rice. The only thing basically acceptable, and that even needed modifications though. Make it vegan without eggs. The menu only has noodle items with chicken or seafood. It bites. Would have liked to try some of the noodles. Fuck. The others said their stuff was okay. Kind of greasy. This is like hit and miss. Being my choice the next time I probably wouldn't go here. It has a menu of only a few noodle entrees and not much choices for things such as proteins. There's almost nothing for vegans and vegetarians.
