Very easily one of the best places to grab cocktails in the West Loop/ Fulton Market areas. Its an elevated cocktail experience and if you hang around the bar, you can see each bartender putting great effort and art in to each cocktail they pour. Lazybird offers a speakeasy vibe in the lower level of the Hoxton, dim/moody lighting, Couches and highboys for a social cocktail experience for big and small groups, and the best part, live music. For no cover!! I have caught so many amazing shows, and discovered so many talented artists though grabbing a cocktail at Lazybird. It does get crowded quick and this is not a reservation establishment so arrive early and stay late OR be prepared for a line or not having a table to enjoy your cocktails. They also have an extensive menu of cocktails. I mean pages which means they have a cocktail for everyone. The cocktails are pretty pricey but for the experience, vibe, and service, they are worth every penny!

We came early for a pre dinner drink & didn't have to wait for a table at all. As others have noted, it's in the basement but there are signs directing you. The inside is dimly lit, with lounge-y seating and thoughtful decor. Obviously you're here for cocktails but there is a section on the menu called "bites" - which only lists a 16oz ribeye? Ok.Great - *Drinks, obviously. They're not cheap but they are very well made*Pleasant service Not Great - *Don't like the backless "pouf" seats - they're a little tippy and very uncomfortable. It Depends:*Your fellow patrons. We had the (dis)pleasure of sitting next to 2 drunk girls who proceeded to sing along with the music (loudly, and badly) as well as twerk (badly) to music. It was like 5:30pm, have some dignity ladies. Or go over to Bubs or some shit like that. It's a cool place, next time I'll ask to be seated in the "adults who can hold their liquor" section

It's a bit tucked away to get inside but the signs will help you find it. It's a cozy spot so it's a little tough to get a table for a larger group. The atmosphere was relatively busy, dim and intimate. I was here with coworkers and I got the Marina Bay Daisy. It was pretty good. The host was pretty nice as well.

For those in the West Loop area looking for a chill low key night cap, Lazy Bird is the place to be. Very reasonable prices with many options to choose from. Highly recommend reservations, but you may be able to get lucky with walking in. Never know with Speakeasys!

This spot was a great choice. The ambience, drinks and service from Eddie were 10s across. Maybe I'm getting older, haha, but I typically don't care for dark lounges where the music overpowers conversation but it was the right balance here. I went on a Wednesday and waited until an event was over at 7:30pm. It gets crowded closer to 9 but still rather roomy. I'll be back again.

If you like music that speaks to your soul and tasty drinks in an underground speak easy, this one's for you. It's a small hot space that's usually packed, but the vibes are typically on point.

Located in the lower level of the Holton Hotel, this place oozes chic, sexy, speakeasy vibes. Cool music was pumping through the speakers provided the perfect backdrop. Excellent decor with plenty of seating available for couples and larger parties. Was able to grab a couch and order drinks with no delays. Bartender quickly turnaround our order. Really enjoyed this place !

This cocktail space is great! It's perfect for grabbing drinks as a night cap or before a dinner reservation. I've come here twice: once in August and once September. Both times the cocktails were perfectly made and both times we were walk ins. I'm not sure about when the DJ is usually playing but we came on a Sunday night when there was a DJ present. The bartenders themselves are so nice! It's a great spot to grab a seat at the bar because you're able to watch the bartenders make the drinks and strike up a conversation. Our bartender made a special cocktail off their menu. They have 52 classic cocktails on their menu with some season rotating ones! Other cocktails I've tried and liked were: the matcha summer cocktail and clover club. You cannot go wrong with what you pick to be honest.

On a Saturday night, I waited under 20 minutes to be let in. There was a live musician playing and the place was well decorated with moody lighting. I'm not that big on alcohol, but I got to try the Clover Club (london dry gin, raspberry syrup, lemon, & egg white) and it was fantastic. If you're into fruity drinks, I would recommend it. It's not really a place that's big on dancing, at least in my experience, but it is a nice place to get a drink and chat. I would return again to try their other drink options.

worst service in my entire life. The manager of this establishment should be required to spend significant time understanding how to treat customers. The host approached us after we sat down and procured 2 expensive drinks--and he said you need to order more drinks to sit here--he at no point indicated this area was reserved (some seated areas were in fact reserved)--I was perplexed given we just sat down with 2 new drinks. I then told the server he could have been more polite and clear about the seating requirements--and 5 min later, the "manager" shows up very hot with no understanding of customer service and proceeds to wave his finger at the only brown person in this entire establishment (that did not work here...)--as belligerent as a poorly trained manager--and continued to wave his finger and berate me for daring to question the actions of his employee...My point, if you don't appear to have money or are any shade of brown, do not go to this establishment. They will treated me like shit, and I suspect I did not fit their preferred demographic.
