I came with a group of 10+ (I lost track of my friends and friends of friends after 10) on a brewery crawl around the area. Goose Island was my least favorite. Nothing against the beer or the service (both good). Unfortunately, we couldn't sit outside because of the stench of the nearby garbage facility. Inside was really loud and difficult to hear anyone. Food menu was really limited, and I wish they had more. I'd be back, but it wasn't my favorite at first visit.

I had the pretzel when I came here; it was pretty good. The food options are limited though. I had a Pilsner which was pretty good; fresh and light and my friend had a fruited ale which was also tasty.I think I might've picked the wrong day to go because it seemed like there was a Goose Island Company event. So there were a lot of guys in a corner table wearing Goose Island shirts. Which was chill until it came time to order beer.My friend and I were cut in line by two of them and the bar tender didn't seem to notice us standing in front of him for a while. So as for customer service it wasn't great at all.I didn't even think it was that busy but I guess employees get the fast pass to the front?Idk, that didn't seem right to me.

We absolutely loved the bartenders here and the beers. Especially the bourbon barrel stouts. Back at home we wait in line for the releases every year. At the actual brewery you get first dibs on some of these beers and some we haven't seen before. We got some merch to go home with us as well!

What a cozy place to hang out with friends. Also, the merchandises here are super cute. I enjoy the small batch beers and the ambiance. It is very chicago.

It's in an industrial part of town but close to a train station. I like trying the local brews, even though this brewery was bought out by inBev. The tap room is clean, has lots of tables and seats. You can see their lab from the taproom too, they have all of their equipment out too. The bartenders were polite and efficient. They have options for flights, 1/2 pours, they are very accommodating. The restrooms were very clean and had a list of upcoming of events. They have lots of merchandise to purchase, from key chains, glasses, and more.

Staff were inattentive and rude, while acting annoyed to take care of my friend and I at the bar. Making clear eye contact and being blatantly ignored was very off-putting. We were told "water is in the back" which was unclear, and ultimately inaccessible, along with the restrooms. The beers we were finally able to get were good, but can't outweigh the bad staff.

Good Island Tap Room and tour was such a fun thing to do if you live here or visiting Chicago! It is slightly out of the way, but worth it.Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, funny and really was interested in helping us have a good time! The price of the ticket also allowed us to try several samples as well as a free glass.I recommend this place to everyone when they come and visit!

The beer here was fantastic (as expected) but the real highlight of my time here was the staff! They were so knowledgeable and friendly. We had called and made a reservation for a big party (10)- they remembered us by name without looking at the reservation book and were so accommodating in making sure we had a big enough table. They were able to recommend beers for us and describe the menu really well. For beer, many of my friends tried a flight which looked so fun! I had the spruce goose and it was amazing! I'd never tried a beer like it before. The taproom is small so definitely make a reservation for a big party but for small groups you can definitely walk in! There was tons of street parking which was an added bonus!!
