"My burger looked almost like the picture and tasted even better. I'm always skeptical when I see a burger joint that isn't mainstream. I decided to try Jimmys Famous Burgers today. I ordered the #1 and doubled my patties. The burger came with fresh hand cut fries and a nice frozen strawberry lemonade. The burger meat tasted fresh and looked like it was handcrafted. Someone definitely took pride in cooking these patties up as they had a nice sear with a really soft chew that melted in my mouth. The burger didn't seem to have a lot of seasoning on it but the lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, ketchup and mustard all kicked in and gave it a good flavor. I was most impressed and my burger even almost looked like the menu advertisement! Also it was a pretty big burger. I'm a big guy and it took two eating sessions for me to finish. The fries were fresh but I waited a bit too long to eat them. But no complaints here because these were hand cut and didn't taste like the normal fries that most restaurants in the local neighborhood use. I'd recommend getting mild sauce on these fries though. The strawberry lemonade was tasty! A Sweet, tangy, cold treat that is sure to help chase away some of the summer heat. I will be back to eat here soon!"

"Stopped by this location for lunch and this place was a madhouse. The lobby area is very small and it was super crammed at the pickup area. The line to order was also very long.There is like 5 flights of stairs you have to take up to the dining room floor and on this hot sunny day we did not have the energy to go up them. We passed on the stairs and waited for the elevator which took forever.. its the slowest moving elevator ever.Once upstairs we luckily found an open table right away and we cleaned it up. Our meal was good and nothing was missing. They were definitely not stingy with their sauces here as they gave us like six of each flavor when we had only asked for two. We didn't interact with any employees since we ordered via the app. Overall our lunch was good."

The peppers were nice and sweet and the sandwich was actually hot when it arrived. Broadway, as the other reviewer said, is really coming alive with a good variety of food places to choose from. "I'm surprised the rating is at a two stars. It's a fried food stall! It's like heaven for all fried food lovers!You can choose between a few combos. Essentially getting a fried entree and a side dish (which most are fried). The bagnet was what I've been craving for a while now and so I knew I had to get that. And because I didn't just want to eat white rice with a bunch of fried stuff, I opted to some laing (dried taro leaves in coconut milk) because you know, health. I can't say I've had a lot of laing but it tasted very hearty on it's own. A little bitter and a little sweet from the coconut milk. All in all, it was a decent lunch for about $10. My biggest complaint was that some of the food items had been sitting out there for a while and looked a little sad, especially the two non-fried vegetables dishes. And eating at 12 on a Friday afternoon, I expected everything to look a little fresher. The pork belly is where it's at. It's a pretty popular item and so you can probably bet that it's replaced quite often. Regardless, this place is definitely worth trying if you know what fried goodness you want."

"Spicy chicken sandwiches have been the rage over the past few years. Working in the Loop, I opted for trying out Hot Chi Chicken in Revival Food Hall. It was not a bad idea.I ordered the Popeyes Ain't Blim Chicken Sandwich. I got it spicy. It was messy and over-the-top delicious. I'd order it again. The fries were crispy but slightly lukewarm by the time I had walked a block back to work.The prices are what you can expect from downtown restaurants and cafes. I liked the sandwich, and the menu has a few other offerings. This won't be an ongoing thing, but I could enjoy one of their other sandwiches every so often."

"It's been a long time since I've been here. I had to come back and try it. They have one of the freshest & most authentic American styled burgers. Made fresh with all natural beef. You can tell it's real meat when you don't get bloated after you eat. The people running it are very nice. Kinda pricey came out $60 for 5 burgers with fries. But it's worth it. Super clean place. Everyone's wearing masks which says a lot about the establishment. Love it. I wish they had on the air condition on, it was pretty humid in there."

"Bills is a staple of the community up North nestled right in Between Evanston and Chicago, it's a small little place there are no tables and chairs. Walk up to the window and place your order the menu is simple Burgers, hotdogs , fries, they now offer a chicken sandwich and fish sandwich. You're greeted with a smile and enthusiasm and the lady that puts on your topping which also very simple. Lettuce, tomatoes, mustard,mayonnaise, pickles, peppers, and celery salt finally ketchup. It reminds me of Steak and Shake. The burger patties are cooked to order and very tasty. Give Bills a try if you're looking for simple and inexpensive. "So my lovely wife and I stopped in at Mic Duck's for a bite to eat on Saturday afternoon before we were to do a bit of day drinking in the area. At least I believe it was called Mic Duck's. I've also seen a listing for Taqueria Blue Line at this spot, at the corner of Belmont and Kimball and across the street from the Belmont Blue Line station.I ordered a combo meal with Philly cheesesteak, fries and a can of pop, priced a wee bit over ten bucks. My love went with a single pork taco. I'd say she liked her taco a bit more than my Philly cheese steak, which was AOK but not exactly overflowing with meat, onions or green peppers. The bun was soft and held everything together, and the can of Squirt was cold and refreshing."

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS RACIST and SEXIST SUBWAY location. I have always been a strong supporter of local business, even if they were part of a franchise. Unfortunately I will no longer be coming to this Subway. I rather drive further down to a different subway. I came in one night and there was 3 customers ahead of my husband and I. Once it got down to 2 customers in front of us I stepped in front but to the side of the other customer. I acknowledged him and informed him I was not cutting I was just looking at the menu since I saw them promoting a new item. The customer said it was fine, but after 10 minutes he left. The sandwhich maker is your night guy that's always there. I did not catch his name but he looked at me angrily and stated i need to have more manners and wait my turn as he was taking the other customer order. He said because of my action I made him loose a customer. He kept going off and said "you people need to learn to wait your turn" not sure if he meant as a Hispanic or as a woman, but this is not the first time I've experienced racism with him. I always brushed it off as he's working night shift alone he must be tired. But this was the last time I will tolerate his attitude. He needs to get fired before I ever step a foot in that subway ever again. Funny enough i did drive to the next closest subway and the same customer that was in front of my husband and I was there also and we exchanged a look and shook our head and both agreed that the worker took too long to make ONE ft long sub."

"Okay so this is one of those places where kudos must be given for concept alone.  It is something all of us Indians at heart search for...tada!  search over.Here's what I love:  a healthy variety of sweet and savory Indian snacks of which some can be full on meals.  very creative and fun names given to food items.  They have the largest medley of paan I've seen.  Goodness, they even have golas.  Their coffees are not your local gas station concoctions, they serve legit espresso, cappuccino, and lattes. I like the high tables. In terms of overall building cleanliness and employee morale,  it seems as if that initial exciting blaze has fizzled to a single wick candle flicker, and that happens.  Service can sometimes feel lackluster depending on who is helping you. Nonetheless,  we will continue to swing by for some gol guppas, falooda, and, of course, some paan for the road ...because paan thats why"

"I will begin here. I work in the area, as I mentioned before I have gone passed this location while on my way to work. I said one day I will stop in. I took a walk to dunning square, ran a quick errand. Had some time during my lunch, so I made my stop. I was greeted as I walked in. Which was welcoming. The service was beyond amazing. The food was also top notch. I ordered the cheeseburger lunch special, one of the best burgers I have had. The location is spacious, the ambiance is comfortable and warm. I am glad I stopped in. One of my friend's would order from this location for our office gatherings. One of the staff thanked me for coming, she saw my ID, and I said I work up the street. I will return soon."

"Solid quick take out and dine-in Filipino spot. Note that there are currently two separate doors for takeout and delivery. The one on the far left is for take out as an FYI. I placed an online order of sisig (with a fried egg on top - $2 extra) and Shanghai lumpia ($0.50 extra to add the sweet sauce). I arrived just after it said it would be ready, and it was. The lady who I grabbed the food and tipped at was friendly. I brought it home and it took me a while, but it was still all warm which was great.I have to say that the sisig was very wet. I'm used to the Kapampangan Sisig which was certainly different than this one, but I've had other regional sisigs that were never this wet. It tasted good, don't get me wrong - but I don't feel like it was the most authentic version of a sisig plate. It's also quite expensive at over $20 for a plate. I did get pretty full quickly though. The lumpia Shanghai was pretty good and standard of what I've had before. I for some reason thought I'd be getting less for the price point, but they packed it in nicely. I would certainly order from here again, but not sure on the Sisig specifically."

Despite that, it was cooked really well on the flattop and assembled nicely. Can't wait to go back and try some other things. It's absolutely worth checking out."

White meat pieces wound up dry - they are cut smaller and not as battered, so they needed less time than the thigh and drums that were thicker in terms of meat/batter. Thighs and drums were perfect - generously sized, meat tasted fresh, and right degree of doneness. Normally 8 pc is 3 thighs, 3 drums, and two breast pieces...they missed with an extra drum and minus a thigh. Mac and cheese was kinda flavorless. Cole slaw had some tang. Broccoli salad was not available as a side. As a new location of an established Bridgeview landmark, I would have expected the breast pieces to have been done right and more taste on the mac and cheese. The drum/thigh mixup could be a new staff/location thing that can easily be fixed (and was the least concern). We dined in and were impressed how the crew was handling all their orders (including online/call aheads). Just one register. Dine in orders are served on a tray and paper plates and plastic utensils are self-serve on the side. It's nice this way so that we don't waste utensils if we bring our own."

"OMG! Is this the best fried chicken I've had so far??? If it's not, it's pretty damn close. I'll talk about the chicken soon but let me tell you a bit about the restaurant.The restaurant Fry is the first of it's kind in the West. It's a franchise from Iraq and only in Dubai and several middle East countries. They take traditional fried chicken and infuse middle Eastern and Indian spices to give it's food all the love it deserves. All the chicken is hilal so expect the prices to be a little more than usual fried chicken joints. Don't let this turn you off because its SO WORTH IT!On to the chicken...YUMMMMMM! The chicken is SO moist and tender but has a great crisp on the exterior. The spices are all too familiar to me as it has turmeric, and several other eastern spices that just ooze deliciousness! They're fries are tasty and amazing. I tried the standard fries but topped with lemon and black pepper.The dining area is decent sized but very clean and modern. It has dining up to 40 ppl.Moe is amazing the service was on par with most restaurants of it's type. You can see how he values the food and how it tastes. Looking forward to coming back and trying the chicken bowls!"

The Howard red line stop is not the safest place to be so I stay away from it and due to that I didnt know about Petes. One of my coworkers told me and I am so glad that they did because the food was great. Their menu is large and can be overwhelming but its okay. I ordered for here and I always get my beefs with hot peppers, which it came with but then they pointed me towards the jars of giardiniera on the counters to let me add more if I wanted; joy!After having raved about it for so long my sister came with me and we got the exact same order. The sandwich that I had on my most recent visit was definitely NOT like the one I had before, it was plain, greasy and even with the peppers it wasn't worth it. I hope they get consistent and if they do that they're more like my first visit. Keep the jars of giard on the counters though."
