China Delight

Really more of a 3 1/2 star place. I walked in and ordered and with two people ahead of me waiting for their order, the time it took to make my food was more than reasonable. Egg rolls were around average. I ordered Mongolian Beef and it was better than average. What I appreciated is that they included the dry fried vermicelli noodles in a separate bag to be added to the entree. Seems like the majority of Chinese places either don't include them at all or put then in the entree where they quickly become mushy and irrelevant. That was the factor in giving this place a "benefit of the doubt" four star rating rather than three.

Great slept on place!! The Fried rice is excellent and the egg rolls are always good addition. The chicken wings are seasoned to perfection and the food is always made fresh with an open window policy that allows you to see the preparation of food. Recommended for take out or dine in.

This is a place my family and I have been eating at since 2003. As a younger kid, I never thought much of it as it was just another delicious Chinese restaurant. It wasn't until recently where I realized the concept of not knowing what you have until it's gone. We have moved much farther away from this restaurant and now I actually crave eating their food. And when I say food, I speak primarily about their chicken wings. They are the best wings I have EVER EVER eaten. This statement holds true across all styles and spices of wings. They are deep fried and are not accompanied/seasoned in any sauces - just subtle, crispy, and cooked to perfection. The size of them are big as well. Price is roughly 5$ for 6 pieces but these are quality and sized wings. Haven't tried their other entrees much, but if they put half the effort they do into their entrees as they do with the wings, I'm sure it's fire. Staff here are very nice people as well. They have been here for so long and always remember when I stop in - I might be their most frequent customer lol. Definitely recommend !

Not good at all a waste of my $7 bucks the Orange chicken was over cooked, hard or maybe leftover from the day before egg roll was the same and dry , only reason I went was the Harolds chicken next door was closed

I'm still a big fan of China Delight. Even when I call in an order and ask for things to be left off or change fried rice to steamed rice, they never mess it up. I also like that for $10, I can eat for two days if I just make some rice on my own the second day. I appreciate the specials the most because it is so reasonable and you get the whole meal and an egg roll - easy and fast!

Good food .bad customer service lady that work as cashier has bad atitude i ask her for my food receipt and price of was she was charging me she dident do it her service was bad i dont know why they keep her in the front they should put her in the back were she dont deal with customers

I agree with the comment below-it is low on atmosphere. However its kinda of a storefront type place/delivery more so than a hangout. I love the potstickers and teriyaki sticks. The organge chicken and mongolian beef are very tasty as well. Everything is very cheap-they have lunch specials which are even cheaper and come with a drink, an egg roll,and fried rice. They even have smoothies, very fresh, my favorite is the watermelon one, they make it fresh to order.

I was craving for some tacos. So, I decide to come check this place out. I ordered a small veggie fried rice. I'm not sure if I would come back here. The prices are decent. The food was ok nothing to brag about it. The service wasn't the greatest. I had way better veggie fried rice at other places.. Waste of my money.

Waiting for my daughter getting her hair done. Was told they have very good Eggrolls here?? Being picky about my Eggrolls. I ordered it anyway hoping it's good at least. I love Bean sprouts ,cabbage, mix and shrimp or whatever protein it is. with more sprouts in my Rolls. Don't know how it looks inside or if they spoke to you when you visited. Someone else picked it up only thing I knew Mask was worn. But Eggrolls very nice had the crunch of bean sprouts A+ good taste only thing is I ordered 4 only get 2 sweet and sour sauce then no Hot Mustard. Nice size Eggrolls but at least 2 sauce each and Mustard with Old because it was brown color not Yellow. We all found old packs of Soy sauce, sweet and sour, hot Mustard in kitchen or desk and when it turns Dark Brown Color. The 3 star is for Eggrolls Only. Yes I will try something else.

Absloutely horrible customer service. The woman is incredibly rude who takes your order, speaks very little English and the store has gotten very cheap in the sizes of their orders. They y used to offer more free food if you spent a certain amount but after 30 dollars now you get one egg roll. Seriously one egg roll! Go to Happy Wok in Elmwood Park on Harlem, their portions are far larger and the food tastes ALOT BETTER.
