Chicago Waffles - Oak Park

Great food, service, and atmosphere. May family and I visited Chicago for Memorial Day weekend. This place is grand. I forgot to take pics of anyone's plate. My sister had the blueberry lemon cheesecake waffles; very light and fluffy. Naturally sweetened from the fruit and can definitely be enjoyed w/o syrup. My BIL smoked sausage, bacon, over easy eggs, & iced coffee. I had a taste of his sausage, which I don't usually eat. They were tender, perfectly fried, and not too salty. I had the salmon omelet w potatoes & an English muffin. The omelet was well seasoned & the salmon and capers were very flavorful. We had coffee to drink, which was nice as well. Oh yeah, we we're gifted a plate of cookies & ice cream waffles. The were very tasty and not overly sweetThe portion sizes were good. Our server Nick was excellent. I definitely recommend this spot. They have a huge selection of sweet or savory breakfast and lunch dishes! street parking so plan ahead if you're with a group. I would definitely call ahead to make sure there's seating. We had a medium size group of 7. Cool experience, the kitchen is in the front and you can see your food being prepared. They also have patio seating in the front. Restrooms are clean. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable. I had the lemon blueberry cheesecake waffles topped with fresh fruit with syrup on the side. Great brunch option if you're opting for something sweet, but this isn't too sweet! Had a great time and will definitely go again!

CHEESE-EEEEEEEEEEE-GOOODNESS!!!Off the bat, over the phone, amazing customer service. Couldn't have asked for a better tone of voice. Walking in, you're welcomed by friendly smiles. The aura of the place is amazing. Up beat great vibes all around. Great decor. Did I mention...FRIENDLY SMILES!! It was my cheat day, and what better way to clog my arteries than with a delicious Monte Cristo sandwich? Lemme tell you......I was BROUGHT BACK TO MY GRITTY DINER DAYS with how cheesy, and greasy, and yummy, and eggy and hammy this sandwich was! Total nostalgia. 10/10 highly recommend! Now I gotta try their main dishes. THE WAFFLES! Anyways, definitely a a must have. Toodles!

I finally got a chance to check this place out. It has been on my food places list to visit. The atmosphere was nice and everyone here was nice. My server Nicholas was very attentive and made sure everything was ok with me. The food came out quickly and cooked just the way I liked. I stayed with ordering a traditional breakfast. Wheat Toast, Eggs, Bacon and Red Potatoes.I was pleased with the experience of dining here. I live 5 mins away so I will definitely be back to try out other dishes and drinks on the menu. Especially the mimosas and lattes.

We came here on a Saturday about 1:00 p.m. for breakfast/lunch. I've been to the Michigan and the South loop location unto my surprise this one was not crowded. When you make a reservation, you're in the type of system where they text you constantly for you to confirm your reservation which is very annoying!For our food I did go to the vegetarian a skillet which had potatoes, spinach, mushrooms and other assorted vegetables and I just got regular pancakes that did not have multi-grain. The breakfast was okay. My guest got like a half of breakfast meal with turkey sausage. Add it. We didn't get anything spectacular and I didn't want to spend loads because this was going to be your day packed with activities. If you're in the area, give them a check out and definitely be on the lookout for free parking because on the street that it sits on you do have to feed it the meters.

The food was great but service was bad. We were not talked to by any servers after being seated despite people who were seated at tables after us (also next to us) had already gotten drinks and orders taken. We were also severed other people's meals and other tables received our food. By the time I finally received the correct meal, everyone at my table had already been finished.

Had breakfast here with my family today; I don't recall our server's name but she was friendly & chatty. Our food came out fairly quickly & my Denver omelette was tasty. I only ate about half & ended up giving the remainder to a homeless person. I will say I felt a lot of the items were overpriced though.

I Love this Chicago Waffles location. By far the best breakfast spot in Oakpark. They have a lot of dishes to choose from. The service is always a good experience. Nick was our server, he's very nice and polite. He's helpful and knows the menu. Amazing service. This was maybe my 6 time here.

I received my food and there was hair in the syrup cup. As I'm eating my waffles, I found a blonde strand of hair inside. The manager couldn't even come address the isssue or apologize. Server was not attentive at all. Avoid at all costs!

Food/waffles are amazing. Nick and Sofia are so nice and wonderful servers! It's become our weekly breakfast place!!Romana & Edwin
