Chicago Waffles

The waffles were so so good!!!! It was crispy and just perfect. The best waffles i had in a while. I am a big fan of Avocado toast and I typically try it everywhere, here it was topped with burrata cheese and pesto (small portion or avocado) overall it was delicious but I was expecting to get more avocado taste. The sandwich was cooked to the perfection.The service was great and very nice staff with traditional and bit raw ambiance. Definitely recommend it and they have quite intensive menu so more and more reasons to come back here.

The food was okay, but not remarkable. The service was good, and our waitress was attentive. However, I gave it 3 stars because the check did not include a service fee that was charged in addition to my total check when I paid the bill at the register, which I find misleading. Any service fee should be clearly communicated upfront, not added without prior notice. I didn't raise a concern about the $3 fee because we were short on time, but it left me with a negative impression and I'm not inclined to return.

Tasty, although a bit pricy for what you get. It's a good spot if you enjoy waffles. It's pretty typical of a West Loop establishment - bustling and rustic in an upscale way, if that makes sense.You will probably have to wait thirty minutes for food on a weekend. This spot is popping on Saturday and Sunday. Check it out if you're a breakfast food enjoyer!

Big menu choices. I didn't like the omelet that I ordered. Came with several workers during lunchtime. The people are pleasant, nice air conditioning, and looks clean for being a newer restaurant. I am not sure if will try this again since there are more opportunities for food in the area. You can give it a try and see if there is something that 'catches your eye' or better tasting.

Highly recommend Chicago Waffles for brunch! Just off the downtown area - it's worth the short 10 minute drive. The food was a 4.5/5 - served hot and fresh and had wonderful flavor. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant, and whether you sit indoors with a bright, upbeat vibe, or on their small patio that is more intimate and relaxed, you'll be happy you came!

I'm quite the sucker for a great breakfast/brunch place. My friends and I went here for a birthday brunch. Seated quickly with drinks and time to look over the menu. Wait staff were attentive. Food was delicious. There were plenty of patrons but it didn't feel stuffy or crowded. I enjoyed it but I was also with good company so it's a recipe for success

Great breakfast spot that can get busy during the popular brunch hours on the weekend. The staff was super efficient and service was quick. The server ordered our food right away and we ended up getting our food within 15 minutes of being seated! I loved my blueberry lemon waffles and breakfast potatoes. The price was around $12-$20 for an entree. Overall had a great time here with plenty of tables and TVs and would come back!

I stopped by after a night at a concert at the Bottom Lounge. The Hotel I was staying at was close by and in walking distance. I try to visit independent establishments when I am out of town as most hotel breakfast are disappointing.However, breakfast at Chicago Waffles was not disappointing! I try to somewhat eat healthy (as I am a personal trainer) but I do love me a good pancake or fried potato. But all within moderation, right? I understand why their potatoes were called "signature"... the onions were soft and the potatoes were crispy. Everything was tasty and perfectly balanced!

I have been here a few times and the food is just okay. It is good but nothing special. A good place if you want many options. Prices were not overly expensive but of course Chicago prices. As for customer service, not the best. We were rushed by our server even though the restaurant was empty. After sitting for 5 minutes our server came over and asked what we wanted, we said we needed more time and then she rolled her eyes. When we checked out at the front, the lady was also very passive.
