Chicago Style Gyros

This was one of my go to lunch places for a while before March 2020. My office is in Goodlettsville so I liked the closeness of it and you could get in and out quickly without it being too expensive. However, the past couple of visits have been longer and the prices are out of my cost range now.The food is ok, if you go while they are busy, you will have issue with the quality of the food and the time it takes to get your order. Since I only go during lunchtime, this ends up being a problem for me. I have to get out and back to the office in a short time so I need to get the food and go.The restaurant itself is clean and there is plenty of space to spread out. There is private parking and it's easy to get in and out of. I visited this past week and one lunch platter that used to be under $10 was $19 and some change. While I understand everything is getting more expensive, I have not making more money so I'll have to pass going forward until the prices go down.

Avoid this place at ALL costs. I use to stop with kids several times a week. 2 owners argued in front of my child. They made order wrong. So backed up to have them correct it. Got screamed at by 1 of the 2 owners who decided to join their nastiness. I have never seen so much disrespect for a customer let alone a female. I asked for money back at that point. I said you can not treat people in this manner. They said they could careless I was a customer and not to come back. I was a long time customer and always tipped. Apparently they should put a sign in the window... " We don't give 2 shits about you"

Words can't describe how great this food was. I ordered a Gyro Sandwich Combo with Fries and a drink along with a Combination Plate, which comes with rice and salad in addition to the Gyro meat and Chicken. The former for lunch was $7.99, the latter for dinner was $8.99, and overall just under $19 out the door. Let me tell you, it was worth EVERY penny. The Gyro Sandwich was MASSIVE. A huge pita pocket stuffed with Gyro meat, lettuce, tomato, black olives, feta and shredded cheese, jalapeno peppers, I could go on...and topped with cucumber sauce. It was so heavy, it weighed down the bag it was in. The fries were hot and crunchy and were the perfect compliment to the sandwich. Lunch was perfect. Five stars. As for the Combination Plate, you wanna talk about ginormous!!! I couldn't even finish my dinner, it was that much!!! Four juicy chicken tenders along with a generous portion of gyro meat over a mound of saffron flavored rice, one 7-8" pita bread cut into fourths and a mix of the three salads they had available, along with all the toppings I could ever ask for. Not only did I get more than my money's worth, it was flavorful and absolutely delicious. I'd give it more than five stars if I could. The establishment itself was nice and clean, organized and the service was phenomenal. I can't wait to go back for more!!! Thank you for making my lunch and dinner a heavenly experience!!!

Found this restaurant via yelp! Saw they had 4 out 5 stars so felt safe to check it out!! Immediately as I walked in I was greeted in a warm and friendly manner by the staff. I asked about what the difference between Chicago style and other styles of gyros were and was informed right then. Chicago style has a lamb/beef ratio of 25/75. Having not had ground beef of that ratio since 2009 I chose the chicken plate. For my salad I tried their spicey cucumber salad and man it did not disappoint being quite delectable! I enjoyed the flavor profile of it mixed in with onions, tomatoes and banana peppers I added! The rice was tender too(between 3 & 4pm some places during the slow hours can let the rice dry and harden out)! The meat was delightfully tender as well! The ranch sauce was just ok though. For me the ranch caps everything flavor profile wise so that's why I'm at 4 stars. Which I could give 4 1/2 stars as a rating. Either way if you're in the area check them out! Its great food for a pocket friendly price!

I love Greek food in general and usually go for a chicken gyro. Tonight we tried Chicago style gyros and were more than pleased. Their combo plate with gyro meat and chicken was delicious!!! The owner Dilshad was very friendly the moment we walked in. I told him I had never been there and hadn't tried the gyro meat ever and he gave me a sample before I even ordered. If you don't try the gyro meat there you are missing out! It was the most flavorful gyro! I will definitely be craving it again soon. Please do yourself a favor and try it out. We thought it was better than Sanatori and Fattoush! My husband had the spicy chicken plate and thought it was delicious as well. We both had large portions and it was less than $20 dollars. So yummy and really good service. The food is always fresh and the portions are generous.

Terrible customer services. un- sanitary through restaurant . chicken has a rubber texture & discoloration.

Love the Baclava for price and quality. Menu has plenty of options and does not disappoint. Tabouli is authentic. I can't wait to visit family so I can eat Chicago Style Gyros again.

Food was fair , been to a few of these .. didn't know what a chicken schwarma was .. the current guests are being treated better then me

used to be one of my favorite places but too many younger people working there now. they have poor customer service and aren't attentive when ordering. my order has been completely wrong the last few visits. the food is good but used to be better, i haven't seen the people i used to see around lately. i'll probably find a new place soon.
