Chicago Style Gyros At Harding Place

Stopped here on my lunch break to see if it could be a new reoccurring lunch spot and YUM!!! I honestly wasn't expecting much at first glance, but they really proved me wrong. I got the Gyro plate which comes with gyro meat over rice, salad and pita bread. The meat was very flavorful, the rice was moist, the pita bread was warm and soft and the tzatziki was the perfect topping. The portion size was pretty big for $11. I will 100% be back.

This appears to be a family owned restaurant that works hard to provide quality food. Very nice people serving delicious food. The restaurant is very clean; although, it is rather dated. I would highly recommend stopping toSupport these hard-working people.

I went to Chicago Style Gyros today with a buddy from work. It was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised!!! The food was wonderful!They even had Lamb shank on the menu, which I will definitely be back try try very soon. And the prices are very very very reasonable.I would say that the only downside to my experience was that they drenched my kebabs in sauce (but that was partially my fault), I should have asked them to go light or to put it on the side. Don't get me wrong, I ate every bite, but I like to look at my food not have it covered with a sauce. As a side note the cucumber sauce was wonderful and that chicken and beef kebab were excellent.The family that owns this wonderful restaurant is middle eastern (which I love) I'm thinking either Syrian or Lebanese, But didn't want to ask or make them feel uncomfortable. I just say this to celebrate the diverse ethnicities that make up the best about Nashville as a whole!!!

Great! I'm a gyro snob. Grew up to gyros in Chicago back in the days when people knew how to make them.. these people know how to make them. Reasonably priced. Good portions. Love everything about the food. Service was good. But the food, to die for. Just don't be a weirdo and get ranch on it.. get the 'cucumber sauce' (Tzatziki)

Something has changed about this place . I have worked in the area for a long time and this used to be my favorite spot to pick up food from . always greeted with a smile from the older lady that seemed like she was the owner .She never got my order wrong , actually always made a point to double check just to make sure I didn't want something different . Recently the experience in service and food quality has not been the same . We ordered today through door dash for a coworkers birthday and the entire order was wrong . Not only was it wrong but they argued to the point of saying we were lying about what was delivered . We were asked to send photos of the food we received and even then they didn't believe us . The manager did come and bring the meal that was missing along with salad that was missing from 2 of the other meals . I'm not sure if this place has changed ownership but not the experience locals are used to .

Very good service, clean restaurant, and fresh good looking food even at the end of the night. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a gem :)

I'm giving 2 stars because the worker didn't listen when I said I wanted BEEF only! I do not like lamb! I hate it actually and my body doesn't care for it! Aside from that, it could have beef at better experience for my first time!!!
