Chicago Pastrami is genuinely the worst restaurant in all of Issaquah. I wish I was overexaggerating, but I cant even put into words how bad every factor of this place was. I ordered the "Italian Sandwich Special" for a crazy 16 dollars. Already an insane price for a sandwich from the start, but I thought it would all be fine when I actually ate it. I never thought someone could screw up a sandwich so badly. After 30 whole minutes to make one sandwich, the waitress brought out this vile monstrosity of "Italian cuisine." It looked worse than anything a school lunch lady could whip up with underfunded ingredients. It looked like a 5 year old's attempt to make breakfast in bed for his mom. The bread was insanely soggy, to the point where it was dripping out of the paper wrapping. How the hell do you get bread this soggy? I have no clue, but it was basically uneatable as a sandwich because as soon as i picked it up it broke apart like slime so I had to use a fork to get what I could out of it. The beef was obviously low quality, where as they basically threw a bunch of cold pickled vegetables from a jar all over the sandwich. I added photos to this review so you can see for yourself. To add on to this, I immediately felt sick to the stomach after eating this so it was obviously unsanitary. The fact that IT COST 16 DOLLARS and TOOK 30 MINUTES is dumbfounding to me. This is the worst place in all of Issaquah and I beg anyone reading this please please please not to go to this absolute garbage restaurant. I wish all the worst for Chicago Pistrami and hope they go out of business. 0/10.

I've been coming here since 2016 and really enjoy the hot pastrami sandwiches. I stopped in recently to grab lunch and went for the classic Chicago Pastrami sandwich, along with some fries and onion rings to share. The sandwich was delicious, loaded with tasty pastrami. Fries were cooked perfectly and nicely seasoned. The onion rings were crispy and light. Everything hit the spot. I always enjoy the atmosphere, fun decor, and service is always fast and friendly.

I just went here the other day and the sandwich was absolutely top tier. The pastrami is so well cooked and the bread is really good. In general these people understand quality and you are getting your money's worth everytime.

Chicago Pastrami is always delicious, though it can be a little inconsistent. I usually get the Reuben with mac and cheese bites. I have to say, if you order earlier in the day, the pastrami is usually more moist whereas it can be dry towards the end of day. The store front is so cute, and the staff are always kind and efficient. Love this place and I'll definitely be back!

I've eaten here several times. To be accurate, I've mostly had food from here from delivery services. First, since I'm not from the Greater Chicago Area, I won't try to grade how well they conform to a classic Chicago version of whatever item is in question. Grilled pastrami, good, very tasty. Chicago Style hot dog, this was very good. It may not match what a native Chicagoan may fondly remember on the hit dog of his or her youth; but, at least it does not have ketchup, and I think it has the other required ingredients. The pastrami dog is also very good. This is another vision of how to serve the classic hot dog in a bun in new ways. The Ruben is excellent: pastrami, sauerkraut, cheese, and dressing on toasted rye bread. This follows the classic recipe and is tasty. The Chicago/Pastrami burger is an excellent combination of a good quality hamburger combined with pastrami. This burger can likely challenge the bacon burger for its place of supremacy in the American burger hierarchy! All in all, this is an excellent restaurant, for its type and style, it deserves good ratings which I am giving it.

I stopped in for a Reuben Sandwich for my husband. We had never eaten here before, but as I was walking by, I peeked in the window, and it looked just like a New York sandwich shop. So I couldn't resist getting my husband his favorite sandwich to try. Even though it wasn't "fresh" by the time he ate it, he said it was the best Reuben he's ever had. The man who took my order was friendly. I waited a bit for the sandwich, but they had signs everywhere informing people that they were short staffed and to have patience. So the wait was no big deal. My husband and I will definitely come back to eat in the restaurant!

I've been keen to try this place ever since the homeowner of my temporary digs found out I'm part Armenian, and I finally made it! I paid a visit to Vartan one afternoon with soujouk on my mind, and I was not disappointed! Got my stuff to-go, but it's a cozy shop with parking to house your rig while you get sammiches. I had soujouk (love the seasoning) for dinner, and picked up an Armenian pastrami for lunch the next day. And I enjoyed the hell out of it - crunchy bread, pickles, mustard - it hit the savory notes that I love. I washed it down with a Jermyk mineral water (Perrier without pretention) and felt sated. If you're ever in Issaquah Washington, stop by and chow!

Good pastrami. Friendly staff. Tasty treats. I've eaten here about 5 times now and every time has been great. Highly recommend their classic Chicago pastrami sandwich. Their pastrami dog is also one of my favorites.

Delicious food, and fast friendly service!!! My husband and I stopped by this spot while were in town. I'm from the east coast so I love seeing foods that aren't from here. We decided to try the cheese stea, Mac and cheese bites and to my surprise they had one of my favorite fizzy drinks! Vimto! The cheesesteak was 10/10!! Perfectly soft and tasty bread that doesn't get soggy fast. The veggies were fresh and cooked well. The steak a bit on the thicker side, but still made to perfection because it was tender and very well seasoned! The Mac and cheese bites were a fun and nostalgic little snack! Fried to perfection and filled with gooey cheese and it tastes like Kraft Mac and cheese which was a pleasant surprise!! I absolutely adore vimto! It's a sparkly drink from the Uk and it's very popular in the Middle East. If you like cream soda and berries, give it a shot because that's exactly what it tastes like. I was thrilled to see it because it's not something easily found here in Washington!!The server was extremely friendly and informative in helping us make our selections! We had a lovely lunch and plan to be back very soon!
