Chiba Japanese has become one of my favorite spots for both lunch and dinner. The prices are fantastic, offering great value for the high quality of food you receive. Whether you're planning a date night or just hanging out with friends, Chiba Japanese is the perfect choice.The freshness of the food is remarkable. One of the highlights of dining here is being able to watch the chefs expertly prepare the sushi right in front of you. It adds an extra layer of excitement and assurance that you're getting the best.One of my personal favorites is the tomato roll. I highly recommend it! I make sure to order it every time I visit, and it never disappoints.Although Chiba Japanese can get quite busy at times, the wait is never long. Plus, there's plenty of parking available, which is always a bonus. Overall, Chiba Japanese offers a delightful dining experience with delicious, fresh food and great prices. I can't recommend it enough!

I come here often. The place is consistent and the prices are great. It's not the best sushi I've ever had, but it is really good and the prices are even better. The staff is always super helpful, attentive and quick. I even love that they have extended their outside area to give an outdoor seating option when the inside is busy. Love love love the tomato nigiri, hamachi roll and corona roll.

We come here like twice a year for the last five years and I always forget to review.This place is a solid 3 star average restaurant. It's not bad but I always think it'll get better and we would give it another try but each time, it has failed me and they are just average. They used to have two locations but now they are down to just this location.Always friendly and quick service. The parking lot can be busy on game day at McGreggors. They have two assign spaces in front.We got spicy edamame, bbq wings which tasted like teriyaki wings because it was so sweet, lemon roll and baked lobster roll. The lemon roll was refreshing with a hint of citrus.Any of the baked rolls are good. Our past favorites have been the dynamite and pizza roll.There are tables inside and outside.

Good sushi, decent prices. Rolls I've enjoyed so far are the hawaiian roll, kamakazi, lemon roll, and one of their special lobster rolls (can't remember the name, but there's a couple on the menu). Service has always been friendly and welcoming. Been here twice and it hasn't been too busy, even on a Saturday night. Easy to find a seat straight away at the bar. Chiba will probably the first sushi place I think of if I'm craving sushi - close by, good, decent prices, quick and casual.

I was nearby and craving some Japanese food but didn't want to travel too far and spend a lot of money. When I did a quick search Chiba Japanese popped up and what caught my attention was how cheap most of their items were. I opted to try the Chicken teriyaki bowl and Las Vegas roll. I was a bit disappointed in the roll. It was deep fried but the outer dough part tasted kind of uncooked and not crispy. The jalapeños on top felt old and the flavor was almost none existent. The chicken teriyaki bowl was average. The Chicken pieces were kind of big and there were only 2 veggies, it felt a bit plain. The service was super nice though. I would come back but maybe I'll dine in and get some different items.

After hitting Chiba for my first time I affectionately refer to Chiba Japanese as "dive bar sushi." First things first, they don't have a full bar, their wine list contains only four line items (one of them out of stock), the floors are not sticky, and there isn't a pool table or dartboard in sight. Why then? Because in a world spewing over with sushi joints appearing to be shipped directly over from Japan with slick minimalism with each one claiming to have the "best fish" Chiba stands out as the misfit - 20 years strong, no frills, just decent sushi. Yep, I said it, "decent sushi." That by no means that it's not good sushi but just don't expect to be wow'd over with creativity here. It's back to basics with the standard rolls that you'll find just about everywhere else but still constructed with care and quality fish. Sure, it's a little rough around the edges inside but this small operation clearly has a loyal following and I can see exactly why. Their formula works for them: good sushi offered at a very affordable price. That's sure to win over a customer time after time and that being said, you've earned a new customer, Chiba!

I've been coming to Chiba for years because is one of the most affordable and delicious sushi spots in town. I always order something different but today I had a rainbow roll and a fried shrimp roll. Both were great! they also have mochi and ice cream. I like the red bean one. Chiba is one of my favorite spots ever.

My girlfriend and I are extremely picky when it comes to sushi. We ordered a rainbow roll, spicy tuna and eel roll. They were absolutely DELICIOUS. The fish was fresh and the flavor was there. Additionally, the staff was extremely nice so thats always a plus. Please Chiba, keep up the great quality and we'll be your number one customers!
