Cherokee Rose BBQ Bar & Kitchen

We stumbled to Cherokee Rose after a bike ride into Stone Mountain village from Atlanta; Not as far as you think taking the Stone Mountain path trail. We walked in around noon and were seated right away. A few of us ordered drinks but I stuck to coffee to power me through on the way back. I ordered the bbq sandwich biscuit which comes with a side salad. I thought it was great. The salad was nice so it wasn't too much of a heavy meal. There was live music so the atmosphere was quite inviting. I would definitely recommend it.

Cute restaurant! Came with family for a birthday and the atmosphere was nice we were glad to have gone. We parked across the street in the lot adjacent to the restaurant but there's also street parking available on the same side. We went on a Thursday night and they had a live flautist who performed covers. He was so great! Even came by our table and others to ask how our evening was going and told us a little about himself. On to the food. To be honest I wasn't a fan of my meal. I ordered the pecan crusted fish and though my sides were decent, the fish itself wasn't seasoned well, pretty bland so was disappointing but edible. Rating at 4 for the ambiance and others in my party who enjoyed their meals more than me. Would I go back? Yes, if in the area, I'd for sure suggest going. I saw such beautiful groups of people there, and the live music was definitely a plus.

Everything was ahmazing! Ann our server was exceptional! We enjoyed every suggestion that she made! The ambiance is fantastic! There was a guy singing and playing guitar the entire 2 hours we were there without taking a break and he was so good! The pictures don't do the food justice. We starting eating ours so quickly that I had to take pictures of the people's next to us food because they ordered everything we did! Already looking forward to going again soon!!

As some of the previous Yelpers mentioned this place is a little pricey. For me the food was just ok. I would not rush back but if I am in the area I might stop by and try a different menu item.Upon arrival we were immediately greeted and sat quickly. The waiter was pleasant and he had a great warm smile. He made some recommendations since this was our first time. He did come and check on us and another worker came to check as well. The food came out quickly and the chicken was super hot!!! The sides were warm at best. The mushrooms and the potatoes were enjoyable. I think if they were a little hotter it would have tasted better. The portions were shareable for the most part, I was able to taste both types of chicken. The fried chicken could have used more seasoning but all in all it was edible.I did not opt in for desert but if I do go back I will try the peach cheesecake.

Upon arrival I was surprised at the ambiance vs the pricing. It's nice to be wrong every now and then. The food was outstanding, they have amazing chefs. I had the wedge salad, the dressing was warm blue cheese and buttermilk, best anywhere. Although we ordered different entrees, we share tasting. Prime rib was so tender, it almost melted in your mouth. Catfish was a wonderful surprise, all the standard sides were equally delicious. None of the food was over spiced; fresh and tasteful. Try the SIX layer chocolate cake too, superb!

Reilly was our waiter. We came for Saturday Brunch. They had live music playing and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was classy but relaxed. Perfect for any date or family outing.

The food is always good! The drinks are always on point. The service is fast and friendly. Definitely recommend!!

Had a great dinner here! Sat at the bar and really enjoyed the excellent service and meals. It was my first time here and I will be back!
