So tasty and many freebies! Upon entering, you're treated with friendly staff who explain how things work. There are plenty of seating options for groups. It's definitely more crowded during the weekends, so you might have to wait. I don't believe they allow reservations, but you can always call and ask. Free parking on the parking lot in the side of the building, but it might be full if the restaurant is busy.Sauce/sides bar provides many different ways you can customize your dipping sauce, along with some sides to eat with your hotpot (popcorn chicken, seaweed salad, roasted peanuts, etc.). They even give out mini sesame oil jars to take home with you.I really appreciate how they provide aprons, clothes covers, clothing spray, glasses wipes, hair ties, etc. to keep you from smelling umami after eating.Would definitely come again!

A good hotpot place for any occasion. I got the lamb and beef which were solid, and various veggies. They have sides you can grab - my complaint is that some of the side dishes were way too salty for my taste. At the end of the meal you can also get ice cream, durian or chocolate. Chocolate was way too sweet, so I'd recommend durian if you like durian. Service was good, they refilled our soup when needed, and the place is lively with nice decor.

Chengdu Memory might be my favorite hotpot place in all of Seattle! Located conveniently in the Chinatown international district, chemgdu memory boasts authentic and traditional Chinese hotpot. With top-tier service, amenities like mouthwash in the bathrooms, glasses lens wipes, and hair ties, and delicious menu items at a fraction of what Haidilao costs, Chengdu Memory wins in both quality and quantity. I came to try their new panda dessert, which was so cute. It was pandan jelly in coconut milk with tapioca balls. Super refreshing and not too sweet; perfect for an after hotpot meal. Of course, we also had to get hotpot, which we decided to try the standard pork bone broth (which comes with tomato, dried red dates, mushrooms, and cucumbers inside). Since there were only two of us, we only ordered a few dishes: the highly Instagrammable meat platter (half beef and half lamb), the tripe combo, and the salted egg yolk shrimp balls. This is the only hotpot place where I've seen the salted egg shrimp balls, and I don't usually see it at the Asian supermarkets either. It's delicious! Perfect amount of sweet and savory. We had more than enough food and took home enough leftovers to feed both of us for dinner. The quality of everything was high. The best part was the sauce bar, which not only included sauces, but also appetizers like deep fried sesame balls, popcorn chicken, pickled cucumber, seaweed salad, pickled chicken feet, green bean soup, white fungus soup, and eight treasures porridge. You don't even need to order dessert because these porridges and soups are the dessert! Extremely refreshing and a nice cold snack while having hot hotpot. They also have parking available, but it is also very close to the light rail and many bus routes. The space is very clean and beautifully decorated. Overall amazing hotpot place and I need to try the rest of their soup bases and menu items!

Visiting Seattle, my friend insisted on trying this hot pot place, though parking was a challenge. Impressed with the service, the 30-minute wait was made enjoyable with dog treats, candies, and various amenities like phone cleaner and nail polish. Free wifi and entertainment options like Jenga added to the experience. When seated, the staff provided aprons and even covers for our jackets. We ordered the meat combo for $142, creatively presented in a circular plate. Despite being a group of 4, the portions could have fed 6-8 people. There's an extra charge for the sauce bar, offering additional treats like chicken feet and popcorn chicken. For the price, especially with a group, the restaurant is worth it. Taste wise, I would say their bone broth soup tasted pretty good and their meat is good too! Nothing extraordinary though but def better than other hot pot places that we've been too! The bathroom amenities include different lipsticks, toothpaste, toothpicks, toothbrushes, and mouthwash. Surprisingly, they didn't offer perfume. Overall, the unique and fun experience makes us want to revisit and recommend it to friends and family because you literally get a full service from this restaurant. Not everyday that you'll find a unique restaurant like this!

After reading so many good reviews, I'm disappointed to have had only an okay experience here. We had a reservation for a large group, and were not really given any instructions other than to order via our phones/the QR code on the table. We ordered our food and broth and the food came out quickly but the broth did not, so we had meat just sitting out for quite awhile while we waited. Eventually the waitress came over and told us we should have ordered our broth first because it takes 15-20 min to prep. When the broth finally did come out, we were able to cook our food fairly quickly (which was good, since we were told there was a reservation after us and we needed to leave by a certain time). The presentation of the food was beautiful, but I don't know if the quality of the food was significantly better than other hot pot places I've been to, or if it was worth the chaotic feel inside the restaurant. I recognize that it was super busy in the restaurant, but because of the placement of the sauce bar, it felt even more crowded. I'm not sure if I'd choose to return here, but if I do, I'll try a week night in hopes it's less busy.

Chengdu Memory offers a unique hotpot experience with a diverse menu, including a standout option - a ring of meat. The prices are reasonable, and the added touch of leaving with provided gifts enhances the overall experience. The highlight lies in indulging in protein-rich meat and noodles dipped in their flavorful broth, complemented by a sauce bar for personalized creations. The spacious setting, coupled with traditional Sichuan dishes, adds to the charm of this memorable hotpot destination.

I loved this place! When we first entered we were greeted right away. They do not seat incomplete parties, so we had to wait. But while you wait there is a nail station for you to do your nails along with self served flavored water and candy for you. They also had hair ties and a spray for your clothes so the smell doesn't stick on you! But the entry way is very small. Anyways when we were sat, the customer service was great! They covered my jacket on my chair with a protector for the smell I'm assuming to not stick. Table was constantly bussed and just very fast, water was always filled. But they need to give more ice. The water warmed up fast there. Everything is a la cart, but for the price it wasn't as bad as I thought. There is a an additional charge per person for the sauce and dessert bar. You order everything through your phone, love the option of being able to pick two differnt broths which is what we did, one spice and one not. We ordered the ring of beef and that was more than enough protein for us. The biggest change I would recommend to this place is they need more veggie options! Besides that this place was great and I can't wait to come back on my next visit.

This place never fails even returning years later. I would always recommend this place to any of my friends that wants hotpot and I usually make my return if I'm in the area craving hotpot Service is always excellent and they have an extensive menu with the usual fave items and the meat ring is such a treat as well. Their sauce bar is also always stocked and have the go tos for your saucesI always get the beef spicy (fair warning it is SPICY even for a medium - but soo good) and the tomato broth. The items are priced as you order - it's not an AYCE place so it does add up so I recommend order what you like first and if you want more you can add on afterwards (we ordered a lot and it was a bit wasteful since we didn't finish it all) Overall - still one of my favorite hot pot places to go to and the price point is fair
