Chef'em Mariscos

We had a slight snack craving while enjoying our beers at Duck Foot, and luckily Chef'em Mariscos was set up right outside!- PARKING -If you're already coming to Duck Foot for some beer, you have plentiful parking available and can enjoy Chef'em Mariscos without fear of circling around!- SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT -As a food truck, they'll take your order and prep the food while giving you a buzzer to let you know when to come back to grab your completed order. They have big menus with all the prices listed clearly. After ordering, it took around 10 minutes before the buzzer went off.- FOOD -Fish & Chips ($15?): Really large portion of fries! They had really good seasoning on them as well, although they were a bit on the soft/soggy side. They also only served 2 pieces of fish, which weren't that big either. The whole order was piping hot though, so it was tasty to eat fresh!- OVERALL -A solid food truck option if you ever see it at your local brewery. If we have another snack craving and Chef'em Mariscos is posted up, we will most likely try another option off the menu!

Not sure if this place changed the ownership. The menu is very small and limited now. The taco doesn't even have pico. It only had arugula on top of fried fish/shrimp. The fries also tasted horrible as the oil is over used. And the Cali burrito was very very salty. And worst of all, no salsa available at all! On top of the bad taste, it's over priced!Will not be back for sure!

This is a food truck serving a wide array of Mexican fare at great prices. 4.5/5 shrimp ceviche: the vinegar/acid juice used to cook the shrimp tastes different from what I am accustomed to. The assortment of shrimp, onions, tomatoes, avocados with sprinkled tajin on two tostadas are quite the eye catcher and pack the crunch and flavor I was looking for. 4/5 fish soup: a hot, acidic, spiced stew of fish.5/5 fish taco: crunchy, fresh veggies, creamy sauce, and batter fried white fish enveloped in a freshly made taco; I wish I had the capacity to eat more of these just so I could order more. 4.5/5 parking: there are some spaces in the lot you can park at or on the side street 4/5 payment options: $.50 charge for using credit card on their square machineI'm sure I will come again when I'm around the area, and will likely try their aguachiles and other tacos.

It's always nice to run into a new food truck. This is an interesting truck, given it's own by a Turkish gentleman who makes some pretty good Mexican Food. I had the grilled fish burrito. It was a very good burrito and came very well wrapped. The fish was very well seasoned and tender. The mayo base sauce was very good too and complimented the fish well. I liked all the freshly chopped cabbage, tomatoes and onions. The flour tortillas was of a good quality and tasted good.I only had the creamy chipotle sauce as an add on and it was very good. It offered good flavor and a mild heat. Service was good. You can find the truck on Imperial across the street from the Walmart Neighborhood Market.

I'm currently sitting outside Duck Foot Brewing, drinking great beer and eating THE BEST DAMN CARNE ASADA FRIES I'VE EVER EATEN!!These fries are not your ordinary carne asada fries. They feel like a French cuisine meets Mexican street food hybrid sensation! The sauces are AMAZING! The fries came drizzled with a creamy sauce that is out of this world! The salsa on the side is hot, smoky and delightful. The carne asada is fresh and juicy and tender. Dear lord. I wish I had a bigger stomach!If you have the opportunity, treat yourself!!

Decided to try this place out at Duck Foot Brewery and was SO disappointed. I ordered Carne asada fries and it took more than 30 min for them to make my order. Once I got the order the fries were covered in arugula.... I've never had Carne asada fries with arugula before. Not good. I was also give some hot sauce with the fries which turned out to just be Frank's. Won't be coming back. Beware.

I grab food off this place once or twice a week while at Duck Foot. The tacos are amazing. Especially with the arugula topping, what a great addition. The owner is friendly and hussles as fast as he can. Sometimes Duck Foot is packed so it might take a little longer but nothing to complain about, just have another beer. I can't wait until the fish tacos come around again. Rotating menu so you'll never get bored eating at Mariscos!!!

They forgot about my order completely so I had to ask after an hour (they were really busy at a brewery). They then brought me a partial order. I got the second half but never the toppings I paid extra for. The plain fries for $7 is criminal. They were the size of a small McDonald's fries with 0 seasoning, and no surprise cold. I was given a salt and ketchup packet. I had gotten the hot dog, which was good but again 100% plain. In summary I could have made this meal myself an hour faster for $1.50. My friend got the carne asade quesadilla and while he said it tasted good, for $12.50 expected it to be twice as big. Next time they're at the brewery I will not be buying.

We catch Chef M when he's at a local brewery we frequent. His fish tacos are a game changer - my wife has celiac and he does them gluten free and prepared seperate. I eat them for the taste! His carne asada tacos are also a hit. Gluten free fish tacos and GF beer. He's gave my wife a taste of her old life. Thanks Chef M.
