Cheese N Stuff is a small, indie deli on Central Avenue in .., you guessed it ... Central Phoenix. Parking is limited and seating is more limited, so if you intend to stop by, plan on a "to go" order. The moment I walked in, the staff was on the ready to take my order. I appreciate small business and patron them when I can.I opted for the Italian Special. For meats, it should have included ham, salami and mortadella, but mine was missing the mortadella. Nonetheless, it was good and I'd order it again. I also requested the Pasta Salad. The portion wasn't especially large, but fine for a side. Sadly, the lid was not secured and the dressing spilled through the paper bag and all over my passenger seat. The Brownie was fine, though slightly dry.I'd like to return to try the Dough Boy. Next time, I'll double check to ensure everything is included and properly sealed.

We'd driven by this place a bunch and finally decided to stop by. We knew very little about it and found out quickly that this is a carryout restaurant. There is one folding table that maybe could sit six in a pinch but when we stopped, it was half full of toys. Luckily for us, there were two spots available. We ordered two combos, the Italian and the Sicilian. Combos come with chips and a can of soda. Both sandwiches were good but realistically, Jimmy John's has more meat. But they cost a couple bucks more too. The people were nice and there were lots of carryouts while we were there. While good, I doubt we'll return. Oh, there's 30 minute parking so don't dawdle.

This place has been around forever, and after years of passing through Central & Camelback, I finally stopped in and learned why! This is a real old school sandwich shop. Family owned and operated. Letter board menu, and all the items are strictly the classics. It feels like something small town, like they never updated anything for decades. But it works. I ordered a hot pastrami & swiss on rye. I think they just briefly heated up the meat and cheese in the microwave before assembling my sandwich and wrapping it in foil. I wanted to be mad at this. I wanted to scold them and demand they actually toast sandwiches like everyone who resides in the 21st century. I unwrapped my sandwich when I got home, and the bread was soft, maybe a little soggy. I take my first bite--somehow, despite crude preparation methods, this still competes with big chain sandwich shops. The ingredients are just that good, I guess! They also sell a lot of deli meats and cheeses by the pound. They've got a bunch of imported snacks from places like Germany and Poland. If you're a nerd for Central Europe, this is heaven. Service was kind, and I was happy with my lunch. I do wish this place were larger, so they'd have room to comfortably dine in, have more shelf space for inventory instead of displaying it on tables in the walkway, and maybe more space for food prep. But they've made it this far with plenty of loyal fans throughout the valley. Cheese and Stuff--it's good enough

This place was SOOO GOOD! Where else can you pickup Lefse and an amazing sandwich?! This is a small family owned spot with delicious homemade salads, sandwiches and desserts. The ladies running it were so friendly and helpful. There is so many options to choose from. We went with 2 turkey sandwiches, potato salad, pasta salad and a lefse to go. Everything on the sandwich was fresh and top quality. The potato salad and pasta salad were super flavorful as well. We will definitely be stopping in again soon to get our sandwich fix. Thank you!!

This place has been here forever. I went to Brophy in the late 80s and early 90s. I'm a teacher at Central now. Great quality tasty deli sandwiches. The same wonderful people.

Tried their pastrami sandwich. It was a good portion and tasty. The service was good, and they were quick. They use boars head meats.

I've only been for the tuna sub so far, but it was so enjoyable, I want to give them a rave. Love that they have a tasty wheat roll. The tuna salad was delicious, generously creamy without being drowned in mayo. The lettuce was crisp, the tomato was tomatoey, and the onions had a nice zip without burning. Size was *perfect.* Love the portion. Filling but you don't feel gross after. My other favorite shops, the sandwiches are too big, and I often overeat and regret it. Ticks all the boxes. Service was friendly and prompt. I look forward to more sandwiches here, and spending a bit more time when I'm not starving to shop the deli section. Looks like they have interesting things here.

Is there a way to give a place 10 stars? This is the place! We haven't eaten here in years (thanks, pandemic) and were really excited to return yesterday. Sure, there's no place to eat inside, so we took our delicious sandwiches with us and ate at the flower shop (Roadrunner Florist). OMG! The food melts in your mouth! We ordered kinda plain ... turkey with the fixin's on a hogie, and we're so impressed we can't wait to go back and try something else! The bread is soft, so soft in fact that we enjoyed the 2nd sandwich today and it's still yummy! (of course we have a cooler that kept the sandwich at 48 degrees!) Ever wanted a place to go that replaces the horrible Subway/JerseyMikes? THIS IS THE PLACE! Plan to take your order with you, and parking is limited, but it's well worth it!
