Very cozy, intimate restaurant, not a lot of seating but the staff is very friendly, service is quick and the food is out of this world. I've been here a few times, give them a try.

I struggled between leaving 2 or 3 stars here. I live close by, so I decided to try it. It's an eclectic little place with a walk up window to order or you can order on your phone. We ordered the veggie egg rolls, garlic black pepper beef, and the Nua Nom Tok which is a rib eye special. The meat on both dishes was very tough. The Nua Nom Tok had the oddest smell and taste of any Thai dish I've ever had. It was very spicy even though we ordered it with mild spicy, but the sauce was very strange. The garlic black pepper steak was just ok, but the meat was again very tough. The egg roll was the best thing we got. They only gave us one order of rice for the 2 entrees. The styrofoam cups for water are the smallest I've ever been given at a restaurant. The size of them reminded me of the small Dixie cups you get at a water jug at a dentist's office.Unfortunately, I don't think I'm coming back.

DELICIOUS! Came in for lunch. You order at the register and sit down, food is brought to your table. Cute interior with a few tables nothing crazy. Food was great and large portions. Lunch specials come with an appetizer. Crab rangoon is a MUST ORDER.

I really wanted to love this place since it's in my neighborhood. I ordered via Uber Eats. The pad see ew came scorched, it had a burnt taste for sure. And the crab Rangoons were also a bit dark for my taste. I posted my review and mysteriously it was gone the following day. Assuming a computer glitch, I reposted it. The review disappeared again and I was blocked from reposting about Che Thai. I understand perfectly what happened now! It's sad that instead of the owner replying and refunding my money, they chose to delete the post and block me. Lastly, the cook knew the food was inedible and sent it anyway. Avoid this place!

I ordered through Door Dash and I credit DD and Che Thai for getting my food to me so quick that it was half the ETA I was given when I placed my order. Needless to say, the food was still super hot when it came! Best price points for the amount of food you get! I swear I've been eating leftovers for days. I like that on most items you can choose your level of spicy. The ingredients used were fresh and light on the oil. I recommend the fried rice, pad Thai, the fried chicken wings, and spring roll. I want to try the drunken noodles next time though. This place will now be my go to Thai take out.

Good, fast, consistent Thai food at a very good value. I have only gotten Che Thai for takeout (limited seating inside), and have been satisfied each time. For the price, the portions are great and the food is tasty, so it checks all my boxes. The food here ranges from pretty solid to pretty great. Personal favorites include the pad see ew, che noodle, and the thai iced tea. I could totally see myself coming back and I probably will. Highly recommend for a cheap, filling lunch or dinner! Look out for the lunch specials.

Ordered the general tsos chicken, garlic fried rice with chicken and the fried dried beef. Opened our order when we got home and there was no rice for the general tsos chicken, and NO chicken in the fried rice. The fried beef was tough. We had to go back to get the rice and chicken. Otherwise food was tasty. They gave us a free Diet Coke. I'm chalking this up to an off night.

I travel to Thailand frequently and this restaurant reminds of trips to Bangkok for the great street food. I had Pad Thai with extra spice, my bride got the vegetarian and gluten-free option of the same. We both really liked the food. They even gave us a small free spring roll appetizer. Again very good food. But it was the happy helpful workers that really made our day. Both were native to Thailand and had the famous ever pleasant attitude and smiles. Since they have lived in. Chicago for years, no language barriers exist. But it was fun using my limited Thai to speak with them both. We plan to go back often, for the great food, great prices, and great service/smiles.

We ordered takeout and the food was done on time and was still super hot when we got home. Overall a great experience. Crab Rangoon: these are elite rangoons. Some of the best I've ever had, and trust me, I've had a lot of crab rangoons in my life. Shumai soup: this fell a little bit flat. The Shumai were amazing and multiple in the container, but the broth just seemed like it was missing something. Still would get again though. Golden shrimp: this was good, but the breading was a bit heavier than anticipated. Shrimp tasted really fresh thoughGarlic Black Pepper with tofu: the sauce in this dish is to die for. At one point we were just spooning it onto the rice despite being super full. I love tofu and just wished the tofu had been marinated or had a little crispiness to it. There was a ton of it though, so they don't skimp on the protein! We will definitely be ordering again!
