Chayote

When we saw a food truck in the neighborhood we got really excited. Delicious food, great service, great prices, and love that they are open pretty late!! I'm a sucker for a good pico and this hit the spot. We will definitely eat here more.

Pretty good, 3.5 rounding to 4. Tacos are a bit larger than most street tacos I've had. Al pastor had pineapple in it - delicious. Lengua was a bit dry and carne asada wasn't seasoned as much as I'm used to. Meal was overall decently priced. iPad ordering really sucked though. All the options (type of entree, meat choices, salsa choices) are buried in menus rather than the usual big printed menu on the side of the truck that shows everything at a glance.

Fast, great portions, and excellent food! Asada burrito and al pastor tacos were fresh and flavorful, as was the side sauce that came with the tacos. Super happy to have this truck in the area!

I am so happy I decided to pick up some food from Chayote after not eating all day. I was looking for a place that provided a large quantity of food for a decent price, which is few and far between in Seattle, and Chayote did not disappoint. I absolutely love Al Pastor, so I take every opportunity to order it when available. From my limited experience in Seattle as an out of towner, though stayed here for 7 months, this was the best Pastor of any place I tried. Again, I didn't get an opportunity to eat it often, but I absolutely love my Al Pastor burrito. I also had the chicken flautas, some rice and beans, and I ordered the habanero sauce on the side. All of this, including the burrito, for $23.Lucky for me, I was hungry. The portions did not disappoint. Even more lucky for me, everything was absolutely delicious. The flautas had actual spice that tasted amazing. The rice and beans were cooked perfectly and tasted even better with the addition of the habanero sauce, which was banging. That AL Pastor burrito was almost life changing. Maybe I was just hungry, but I loved every bite. I'm going back tomorrow to get it again it was that good. The place looks like a cool spot to eat. The guys making the food we're vibing playing some loud music, which may not appeal to everyone but I liked it. They were attentive in getting my food ready and letting me know when it was good to go. Highly recommend giving this play a shot.

Just ordered for the first time, honestly really pleased. The flavor was solid, portion size was fair, and price was great.Only knock would be the use of styrofoam for the rice/beans, but I get it. Life is expensive these days. This place was pretty great and I'm glad it's in the neighborhood.The menu is really easy to navigate, it's easy to order, and there are tables to wait or eat at.I ordered the veggie quesadilla and guacamole and the price was fair. The quesadilla was really filling and I had guacamole left over The quesadilla came with some more greens on the side which I enjoyed.When my food was ready, the man was nice and packaged it neatly. It also came with a coupon.Hoping this place will continue to get business because it's so close and what I've had was pretty tasty.One recommendation is a veggie breakfast burrito. The menu I saw had meat in all of them.

The meat is firm and sinewy. The quality of food is small for the price. I would add few more $ and go to another Mexican restaurant. It was disappointed.

The food here was delicious. We got a carne asada burrito, chicken tacos, carnitas tacos, and guacamole. Everything was so yummy and was made very quickly. We got the food as takeout, but they had a cute seating area with lots of tables. I'm sure in the summer it would be a good spot to eat in. We will for sure be going back!

Cute food truck with a cute eating area, glad to have more choices for Mexican food in upper Fremont. I got the asada and chorizo tacos and both were good. I'll be back to try more things on their menu.

Get the chips and guac! Chips aren't store bought. They were hot and tasted homemade. The staff/owners were extremely friendly and the prices are reasonable. And they have quite a few menu options for a "taco truck". This will be our new go to spot for tacos.
