I ordered the Lunch Takeout special (Monday-Friday 11:00am-2:30pm) which is such a great value for only $8.99. You get 2 entrees, rice, naan, and a drink. In this economy, that is an absolute steal! Even during peak lunch hours, we got our food in 10 minutes after ordering. Although we didn't dine-in, the space is quite nice and I enjoyed the interior aesthetic. The butter chicken and the paneer butter masala were both excellent! Creamy and packed with flavor. They only give about 2-3 pieces of chicken/paneer respectively but for the price and flavor that is totally okay with me. The meal looks small but I was good amount of full afterwards. The naan size is also very generous. I also upgraded my drink to a mango lassi (+$2) and that too was really flavorful. There's a reason why Charminar is always packed and I look forward to going back!

My favorite Indian spot in SD so far! We're regulars and love the chicken tikka masala (slightly edges out the butter chicken), hyderabadi chicken dum biriyani (has a little kick), chicken seekh kebab, vegetable samosas, and the fresh naan is heavenly. The decor is also really nice for dine in! I'm impressed with the food quality and the use of fresh halal ingredients. Parking available in the plaza. The lunch specials look like a great deal to take advantage of!!

When a foodie friend suggested a hidden gem in an old mall, I was intrigued. This casual spot had a welcoming vibe, and our attentive waiter set the tone for a great evening.We ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken dum biryani, and garlic naan. The chicken tikka masala was a perfect balance of rich and creamy spices. The chicken dum biryani was fragrant and flavorful, and the garlic naan was crispy yet soft, with just the right hint of garlic.If you're after a cozy spot with mouthwatering Indian cuisine, this place is a must-visit.

I couldn't believe that their lunch specials was 8.99? What? The fine print reads it's only "to go", which is definitely not a problem. The plaza itself has chairs and tables everywhere and it's literally a few steps away from the restaurant so there's no issue just to get your food and eat right there. I'm not sure why they have that as the fine printAnyhow another good thing about it is you can order ahead of time Yup it's that easy. At first glance when I got my food I felt like it wasn't enough, but of course our eyes usually more hungry than our stomachs. It was definitely enough and portion control nowadays is key. I enjoyed my food so far and can't wait to try out the others. Definitely hard to find food under $10 bucks. YUM!

If you are craving for authentic Indian food, this place is must go in mira Mesa San Diego. Food is so good and flavorful, they have a lot of options to try from both vegetarian and non vegetarian options.I tried butter paneer masala, spicy egg curry and zafrani paneer tikka and don't forget about biryanis, they have lot of biryanis options and weekend special vegetarian dum biryani.They also have live rumali roti (one of the soft bread) available only on the weekends, must try with land and chicken curry.Service was pretty fast, and I went little early so no wait time for me.

Just went here again for the second time. I don't live in SD but anytime I go there I always stop by here. If you like Indian food then come here. Food tastes so good. The decor is nice. The restaurant also looks very clean.

Came around 6pm on a Wednesday and it was pretty filled! By the time we left at 7:30 the restaurant was full, business is booming here haha, you know the food is goodThe food comes out very very fast. Everything we ordered except for the biryani arrived in 5-10 minutesThe butter chicken was PHENOMENAL. The viscosity of the sauce was perfect for us, creamy and substantial but not soo thick. The chicken was so.so. Tender! We were all so pleasantly surprisedOur other favorite was the goat chettinad, pretty mild on actually but fantastic flavor. We also got the Garlic and cheese naan were both great. Apollo fish was also a favorite. Samosas were a bit hard and thick on the outside, so probably would pass on that next time.We were celebrating my sisters 18th birthday and they turned on the happy birthday song and sang along when they found out it was her birthday hahaha Overall, great meal!

Tried the Bezawada chicken biryani family pack . Thoroughly relished the biryani- the chicken is very well cooked and marinated with a good proportion of the masala unlike most biryanis which taste dry. Also the Family portion is sufficient for 3-4 adults. It isn't very spicy but flavourful. Looking forward to visit the restaurant to experience the ambience and service!
