Authentic Lebanese food. Falafel was fresh made instead of frozen. The pickles with the side were amazing. Lentil soup was clearly home made. Beef shawarma was very well seasoned and perfectly flavored, could have eaten two of them. The service was quick. The staff doesn't speak much English but were friendly. The owner makes the food. The place was clean with enough seating for a quick grab and go place.

I arrived just in time before the lunch rush so I was able to order quickly and sit down to enjoy my meal. The gyro was delicious, but I wasn't a super fan of the tzatziki sauce. The mint taste was a bit over powering. The fries were delicious and seasoned well. This place is very popular and many other dishes caught my eye so I would love to go back to try more!

Food: great!Service: great!Speed of food prep: great!Things I love love:Baba ganoushHummus FattoushMediterranean saladTabbouleh Potato harraFalafel (it's perfect)Lentil soupPickles Get the spicy sauce!!We've been going for years and it's always excellent. Only downside is they're closed weekends, but I love that they have good work/life balance for their team. Also props to the gentleman who usually works at the registers (which are self-service)--he is always so helpful and genuinely kind to all the customers.

This is the first Lebanese/Middle Eastern food I've had in Charlotte that wasn't part of a chain. I thought the food was OK, but unremarkable. Granted, I'm accustomed to having a lot of options for this cuisine in the New York New Jersey area so that may be skewing my opinion. I thought the food was moist and fresh, but not the most flavorful. Prices were also a little steep for the portion sizes. I would try it again, but my search for the best Middle Eastern food in Charlotte continues.

The quality of food here has been consistent for years.... Until now. It seems like they changed the quality of The chicken they are sourcing. It unfortunately tastes rubbery. The char flavor used to absorbed beautifully by the chicken but since they changed the quality of the chicken it's no longer as good. Very disappointing.

This is definitely one of the worst places I have been too for Mediterranean food. I have lived in the north east and have had some of the best and this place was so below every Mediterranean place I have been too. I had the chicken shawarma and it was so disgusting that after 2 bites I had to throw it out, I went here a long time ago and didn't have a good experience and wanted to try it again and it failed miserably. You can even see all the bread that they are using is not fresh and pulled straight out of plastic bags. Do not go here, I don't understand why there are any good reviews for this place.

My favorite middle eastern place not named Yafo in Charlotte. Also great because it isn't the chipotle-service style Mediterranean that seems to be popular - where they just throw everything all together in a bowl.Excellent humus and baba and salads. Looking forward to trying the wraps... Great menu. Only opportunity for improvement is their hot sauce. I think it was Sriracha or Siracha mixed with garlic/mayonnaise. With as good and fresh as everything else is, which they could just step this up. That said, excellent place and highly recommend.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience here at this restaurant and hate leaving such a bad review. This probably was one of the worst Middle Eastern style restaurants I have ever eaten at. Everything from the food to really bad customer service just made this a miserable experience.First, the girl behind the counter is really rude and acts a bit hostile to you if you don't understand the ordering system. As well, I spent time trying to place my order only for her 10 minute's later to tell me my order never was placed and to place it again. She seem to get upset and testy if I had questions or didn't understand anything and was very unpleasant to deal with and was intimidating. The worst part of the experience was the food. The falafel tasted very bland and like it was just powdered falafel mix you get at a grocery store. The tahini sauce was not memorable and pretty thin and bland. As far as the Kaftka (Kefta) Kabob I ordered, it was very tiny, like half the size of what you would get at any other restaurant. Were they running short on beef that day? The flavor ok, but I could have gotten a frozen kofta and at any Middle Eastern market that tasted better. It was not spectacular. It was also a bit heavy on the cinnamon and allspice. The rice was very bland and not what I am accustomed to in a Middle Eastern restaurant. There was no saffron, turmeric or cumin in the rice and it was literally just bland Uncle Ben's type of white rice cooked in water. The worst part of the dining experience was the hummus and pita, however. Despite the girl insisting they make everything fresh, including the pita, neither the hummus or the pita seemed fresh. The hummus tasted dry and old and it appeared like it came out of a can or was stored for a long time. Whereas many Middle Eastern places may overdo the tahini, this hummus was so dry, some tahini or olive oil woudl have done it some good. They gave me three tiny slices of stale tasting and old pita bread. I told them that it would not be enough I got chewed out by the girl saying how I didn't order enough (as if I knew they wouldn't give me a whole pita), and she gave me more. I was willing to offer her money for another slice of pita. However, the pita was not grilled and heated as every other Middle Eastern restaurant would do and it was cold, tasted, and old and was just sitting in a bag on their counter (probably for days).I see that a while back this place had some good reviews and maybe it was good a while ago. However, from my experience today, it appears that the people who run the place don't really care much about the customer experience or the food. If you are wanting better Middle Eastern fast food, a place like Yafo or even Cava would be a step up from this place. In all honesty, I probably would have had a better experience at just about any fast food place.

Was looking for a quick and flavorful lunch and decided on Zeitouni. I was and still am blown away by the authenticity, homemade quality ingredients, and rich flavors I got to partake of. Reminded me so much of genuine Lebanese food. Ordering is all contactless and done via touchscreen and a well-done fast experience. Biggest regret was not having time in my day to order more. With question, my new favorite Mediterranean place Cannot wait to go back.
