Yunta is STILL that spot! The place is still an absolute vibe with a live DJ and some dope decor. The place was definitely poppin and I was fortunate to sneak a seat at the bar in a few minutes. I would highly suggest you get reservations if you're planning on coming after 6pm on a weekend. Tried the gardener this time and it was a refreshing mocktail. I had to go back with the Ceviche Yunta because it's the perfect balance of spicy and acidity. The team here is super attentive and friendly. Can't wait to come back and try some of their nigiri options.

I had a great experience everything down to the customer service and food. I went with my friends on a Thursday night. The ambiance was great. The fire alarm did go off causing us to have to go outside for a while, but the owner or manager apologized. I'll definitely be back soon

I had the pleasure of checking this spot out over the weekend. My sister and I were in the area and both of us were starving. After browsing a little on Yelp we landed on Yunta( means Friend) . My sister told me she had been a few times and the food was amazing! We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. However , the staff did step away to seat other patrons. While she was gone another staff approached us to ask if we had been helped! This first impression of recommendable service was impressive! The original staff returned to the host stand. After confirming we did not have reservations she advised we could sit at the bar or there was one table available but it was directly across from the restroom. She said she wanted to be completely honest and transparent about the table. We took the table next to the restrooms (it really was not a bad table). Our wait staff came to the table shortly after we were seated. He asked us about our water choice and also dropped off the complimentary fried corn ( somewhat addictive). My sister and I both opted for mocktails. I ordered the Dirty Chai Martino. Admittedly, it lacked flavor. I took one sip and realized it was not for me. The wait staff was kind enough to ask if I wanted to try something else. What he suggested was amazing, but I don't recall the name of the drinks it had a hint of smokiness to it. To start, I ordered the sesame salad and my sister opted for the edamame. My salad was a win! It was basic ingredients but put together created something special! I honestly could have made a meal out of the salad with a side of salmon! For an entree I had the Peruvian Seafood Risotto and my sister ordered the Ramen Chicken Soup. The risotto was flavorful and had a decent amount of protein in it. I did not try my sister's ramen, but she said it was good. I do want to mention again that the service at this restaurant is giving Michelin star quality! It is clear that the staff works together as a team to ensure that the guests needs are always met. Last, but not least, the aesthetic of this restaurant is a vibe! From the vibrant wall paper contrasted against the stone wall and light wood table and chairs to the entrance with faux moss and gold letters! The design is nice! Overall- this spot is a win in my book!

Hubby and I visited friends over the long weekend who introduced us to Yunta Nikkei. What a great dining experience! We were there for an early lunch, so the restaurant was pretty empty when we first walked in. Between the four of us, we were able to try a variety of dishes: A brunch dish, a couple of tiradittos (scallops & hamachi), ceviche sampler, a chaufa, and a few nigiris. The service was really excellent. From the hostess, the servers, to the manager swinging by to check on us, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Each dish was brought out to us after we've enjoyed the previous. The server would give a little explanation (sometimes suggestion) on the dish. The pacing was great. The dishes didn't come all at once that we felt rushed nor did it lagged where we were hungrily waiting for the next. The food itself was really amazing too. I think we each have different 'favorites'. I especially love the scallop tiradittos, a surprising creamier sauce pairing so well with thinly slice scallops mixed with some crisps & micro greens. So delicious. Having said that, there wasn't a dish that I didn't like. There are so many other dishes I would have loved to try. We would definitely return when we are in this area again in the future.

Overall the food was great. I visited with 2 friends on a Sunday at 4PM and we didn't have reservations. Originally we were offered to sit at the bar, but the seats were a bit uncomfortable so we did get a table, but was told the table was reserved in another hour for another party. Our food came out quick and the waiter was nice. I asked for my steak medium and it had to be sent back because it was over cooked. Within 10 minutes of the reservations I did feel we were rushed to eat and pack our food to move to the bar. We were told we had to close out our ticket prior to moving to the bar. The pico punch was so good I could have had several glasses. I guess the next visit I would be sure to make reservations so we don't feel like we had to have a rushed experience. Otherwise everything else was pretty good to me

YUNTA is an absolute gem, offering a unique blend of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine that takes dining to another level. The food is incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the cocktails are equally impressive--beautifully crafted and delicious.Though it's a smaller spot and can be challenging to snag a table without a reservation, especially for groups, sitting at the bar is the way to go. The vibe is fun, casual, and perfect for soaking in the experience. This is one of those places you'll keep coming back to. If it were closer, I'd probably be here all the time! I highly recommend it for an unforgettable dining experience. Yucca tostones and ceviche are always great, & don't skip the sushi!

The food is always amazing and the vibe is always fun with the DJ. Ordered our favs of croquettes and the Hotate and beef nigiri. Service was fast and efficient even with a packed house. My only complaint is sitting at the tables by the door. There were a lot of people coming in waiting on tables or bar seating and it just becomes over crowded in that area. It felt like we had people standing over us as we ate dinner.

Mid all around. I had their octopus, seafood ceviche and scallops. From freshness to taste to flavor I find everything to be ok, nothing excites my taste buds. Spicy level has a little kick. I do love fushion and always interested in the different combinations. While this work, I think it comes down to the quality of the seafood, which I thought it was slightly lack of.

Ok this is an amazing Peruvian restaurant with a Nikkei twist. The ramen, the chaufa, the causas, the sushi, the lomo saltado, the desserts, all exquisite. I order and I went to this place several times always fresh , delicious and good service. I might become a regular.

My best friend chose this restaurant for her 40th birthday and a few of us went there to celebrate her and I'm so glad we did. We made reservations so when we arrived we were sat immediately, the inside was beautiful. Our server, Harold was soo nice and he was amazing! We had top notch service and not only did Harold wait on us but a few of the staff also came to help us and they were amazing as well. The food was amazing. The ramen was soo good, the crab meat sushi roll (Uchu) filled me up but what was amazing was the pork belly and the salmon belly nigiri!! If you and your friends are looking for somewhere to eat and you appreciate the quality of service and quality of food, I recommend this place. Do yourself a favor and ask for HAROLD!! He was so pleasant and made the experience that much better!
