I came, I bowled, I found out that I am (still) on the verge of enfeeblement as I can no longer throw the hammer with authority... but the unicorn works as a back-up at 15#. Saturday evening rates are a bargain at $6.00, shoes are extra (if you're going to bowl more than 10 times in your current shoe size you should just get a pair and hang them from the rear view mirror.)two dozen lanes are flat and smooth and oiled well, working fans, automatic scoring, bumpers for the kids (automatic up / down by bowler!) hidden ball returns, and the fans work!didn't try the snack bar, didn't play pool, didn't game the videos or pinball but it was all there for the world to see. kind a nice but kinda far but if I'm near here I could be persuaded to stop in for an hour or two...

UPDATE (As of 14 September 2023)After missing two seasons due to bowling league elsewhere, I've come back for my seventh season of VIB. Though they raised the weekly pay by a dollar, you still get the same food and game discounts. The environment hasn't really changed much since missing two seasons, despite there being a few newcomers to the league. If you want to just have fun bowling, this is the league for you. I forgot to mention the various changes since I left. New gutters and automatic bumpers, new seating, new ball returns, new ball racks and flipped masking units. I have to say my first two weeks of league (excluding my third, which I prebowled) were a lot of fun, considering the people on my team and their personalities.

They were perfect to us. My birthday and we got there late and gave a deal and let us bowl for little over an hour and actually let us play pool as well after everyone had left. Thank you so much for making it a great day for me and my sons! Best birthday and last so thank you. You made me happy for that night

They offer kids bowl free thru and app, so my 2 girls got to bowl 2 games for just the cost of the shoe rental, which was $7 total.Great price! The staff all seemed friendly even when my kids kept getting the balls stuck and they had to assist us. The restroom was clean. We will be back soon!

Wouldn't let me bowl when alley was half empty because they were "fixing on getting ready for the league"

I'm no bowler but today was "team building" day at work so my boss suggested an afternoon at the Woodleaf Lanes. I haven't been bowling since I was 10. We bowled a few games, I took a tumble down the lane... oh yeah feelin the unity as my co-workers pointed and laughed. That's a scar I soon won't forget. We had lunch then bowled some more. It was a lot of fun and a nice break from the daily grind. The rental shoes weren't even stinky. What? This was a genuine concern. I was freaked out about it but I wore thick socks and I still have all my toes, so, the rental shoe thing was tested and approved. If you are looking for cheap thrills, I think it was 10 bucks and a good time. So, check it out and don't worry about your toes... so far so good :)

Fun spot for the family on weekends or holidays. Yes. They open on major holidays like Thanksgiving. So, we usually go hang with everything else closed in town.I'd go with higher stars if they'd work on the food. You're kind of stuck, and the food kind of ucks. Really, how can you mess up popcorn? Tiny kernels and burned. Cheese with nachos taste like litter box. Pizza was so dreadful, son had to spit his first bite in a napkin and get rid of it at a birthday party. Have not yet had anything I could swallow at the snack bar.Lanes are good. Plenty of games for the kids. Clean bathrooms. Nice employees. So, why can't they get some snacks out? No clue. Guess the beer is meant to mask the snack bar issues. They could make a ton more money if they could put out something quick and easy that tastes good. How hard would that be?Eat before you go, and it's a good time. We've had a lot of fun times. But, whew boy . . . do not order food here. It's just BAD, BAD, BAD.

Compared to bowling alleys in larger cities, it doesn't offer nearly as much. However, for what it is, it gets the job done very well. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I've never gone and received a negative attitude or poor service. The place is also always really clean. They are always coming behind you and walking around trashing garbage and cleaning. Plenty of balls to choose from. I haven't ordered much from the concessions, however, the beer selection is pretty good. I'm always happy to see Natty Greene's!! They also play a really good variety of music keeping everyone happy. Prices are pretty typical. Overall, no complaints!

First time visit. Had a blast. Employees were very helpful and nice. The place was very clean. The lanes are well kept. I did think the drink prices were a little high, but overall, had a great time.

I no longer able to bowl but my husband he bowls a lot Lisa which is one of the best BLT sandwiches that I ever had. So I don't order food from anyone but her. Thanks for a wonderful job you do.
