Wing King

They are a good spot in downtown York to get really good wings. Lots of flavors and good tasting flavors.Beer is okay.Service was quick and friendly.Salads are good.Wings, now those are the good part of the visit.Parking behind building.

Food was not great and it took a while. Wings were over cooked but the server was friendly.Their Steele creek location is much better.

What a disaster of a potentially amazing restaurant!!! Is anyone in charge at this location in York SC?? Anyone?? I stopped in the other day with three friends, mid-afternoon. Plenty of open tables and about three waiters / waitresses, plus at least two runners and at least one bartender. We had to seek someone out to ask about seating and were told we could sit anywhere. So we sat. Then we sat some more. Then we decided to go find some menus after about 15 minutes. The menus were grease covered with food inside and stuck to the pages. Gross, but we picked out what we wanted so we could order when our server finally showed up. In the meantime, another table was having a difficult time. We overheard they had a super long delay on the food and when it finally showed up it was both cold and undercooked. Complaints to their server were met with angry glares from the server who ran back and forth to the kitchen with their food. All of us sitting at the table tried to politely catch her eye unsuccessfully on her multiple trips past us. So, we sat some more. And then a little more. When we hit the 30 minute mark with not even a "hello", "we're so crushed right now" (which they weren't), or "I'll be right with you", we decided to leave and go down the road to Hoof and Barrel, where we dropped $325 on food and drinks watching the games and having a great time. I hate wasting time at a restaurant, but I have to believe that if anyone cares about Wing King, they could make A LOT of money. There are not many restaurants in York and it's a real shame. Get your act together guys, people want to give you money for what you have: food and service! Do it well, do it fast and at a minimum respect your customers. You never know who is going leave you a crappy review.

This is a local favorite. Their wings are awesome. Everything's pretty cheap. The place on the inside is totally busted looking but that's kind of the appeal at the same time. Parking is pretty easy. The staff there are awesome and the service is good.

I haven't lived in York in almost 6 years, but every time I come home to visit family, it's a must-go-to restaurant we visit. I will say service has always been hit-or-miss but the food is consistently good. My experience the yesterday, 04/22/24, was the best one I can remember in the last 10 years. Our waitress Bre was extremely kind, attentive, and had a personality that makes you want to come back.

Disgusting! I did not get what I ordered. Evidently, they don't like To-Go orders as my food was WAY undercooked and the raw fries were supposed to be medium but were very greasy, soggy, wet, and cold. My med well burger was almost raw. Never again!

If you like cold food that's supposed to be hot or hot food that's supposed to be cold this is the place for you!!! they don't listen to any request for extra sauce or adjustments on the order. If you feel like wasting g your money here you go. I would give 0 if possible

The service was horrible. Waitress was in the kitchen on her phone the whole time. Only came to our table once while we were there.

Food was not good. Table was so sticky that my clothes stuck to it. It was just a nasty experience all the way around.
