This hidden gem was incredibly enjoyable, and the tastings were revealed only at the end. I truly appreciated my time there, and the wines were available at better prices than at larger stores. Everyone was friendly and quick to assist. The ambiance was fun and refreshing.

Winestore really goes above and beyond! I wandered in one day looking for Orange wine. Although they don't carry any in store, the friendly staff took down my info and later emailed me a great list of options, including pricing and helpful descriptions, for me to pick from. There's no obligation to order a certain amount, so I picked out 3 bottles that sounded good, and after providing my payment info, they ordered them to the store for me to pick up. Super convenient, and a great way to get to try different, harder-to-find wines!Browsing the bottles in-store is also a pleasant experience, with the wines organized by type on easy-to-see shelves with labels that let you know what to expect in terms of flavor & feel. We picked up a red blend, which was on sale for a great price, and I look forward to returning for more!

All I can say is SAMMY!!!! I was waiting on my date and I decided to walk into the Winestore and I am so happy i did. As soon as I got in the door I see one of my favorite wines a Conundrum in red which is NOT easy to find...the white version is at any local grocery store but the red is rare....and thanks to Sammy for simply saying hello...i ended up getting a total of 7 lovely bottles...from South Africa to Spain to Argentina. The cute little wine shop made me smile...i will be back.

I love this place for two reasons ... I visit it whenever I'm in Charlotte because of its wonderful selection and customer service. Secondly - it is near one of my family members and whenever I want to send a gift, Winestore makes it so easy for me to phone in an order for local pickup. Always so nice and attentive! Can't wait to visit again!

I had a wonderful wine at a nice restaurant a couple years ago and it quickly became my favorite wine. I contacted a couple of places in town to see if it was carried. Some stores told me they could get it and others just did not have it available. Another store responded quicker and I ordered it from the other store originally, but Winestore was one that could get it for me as well and had it for the best price. So I made sure my second order was with the Winestore. I was able to order and pick up from another location more convenient for me at the time in 2 days! Since the process went so well previously, I decided to contact the Winestore again to reorder more bottles!This time went okay, but not as well as the first time. I ordered and since it was so quick previously, I expected a similar turn around time. 5 days later, I decide to give them a call to see what was up. I was told that the distributor was out of stock and it would be back in at the end of the month, and they would contact me when it was in. Okay, that's fine, but a little communication, a quick call or e-mail would have been a nice customer friendly means to just let me know it would be 3 weeks longer. Happily though, it came in a week early and I was able to pick them up this weekend. Not a huge ordeal by any means, but it is a spot where a slight improvement in service could have made the entire experience great just like the first time.Again, I appreciate the Winestore being able to get my favorite wine at a reasonable price! I will be back when I am out of it again.

I happened to wander in here looking for a gift for a friend. I was instantly greeted by a friendly woman who immediately helped me find what I needed. I told her what my friend liked and she was able to show me a few choices. Sure enough, my friend loved the wine.Also, I bought a little something for myself. I described what I liked and she let me try a sample and it was exactly what I was looking for, so I bought two bottles. Highly recommend this place!

I love coming here with wine friends. Filling my wine tasting card and hitting the machines. I love to taste wines and make notes and find new gems.Depending on who is working the counter, you might get a great wine mind or something less skilled... so its always good when you hit on a the right person to ask their schedule and when they work.. the right person can make or break your wine buying experience.The tasting machines are mainly my fave thing and even though this sleepy little shopping center never seems to change, I like to come here for sushi and then hit the wine store or vice versa. :)

Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely return! The young lady helped me pick 2 Chardonnay. She seems very knowledgeable of wine and I trusted her suggestion The wine tasting table is cool! You pay per ounce of wine you try. If they don't carry the wine you are looking for , they will special order it and guarantee the lowest price! Awesome service. I highly recommend this place. I special ordered Seven Falls Chardonnay. The young man single wrapped each wine in paper and placed in wine bags. Such a special touch!
