Small wine store that seems to be very popular in this community. You can find parking in the shared parking lot. It's right next to the Omaha steaks. When I entered I was greeted and it's clean. You can do tastings where you buy a card for a dollar and you can reload it with their various amounts to cover your wine depending on how many ones you want to taste and how much you wanna taste of the wine. The owner seems to know several customers by a name so it makes it personable. I'll be fine what you need.

Have to agree with the other reviews as Winestore is a wine store that seems to carry mostly QUALITY wines.Owner, Matt, conducted a wine tasting for our Cellar Dwellers Club in Sun City Carolina Lakes, SC. I had seen his shop in a local shopping center, but had never been there. We buy most of our wine at Trader Joe's, Aldi, Lidl and Whole Wines. Does sound like we really drink a lot of wine the way I wrote that sentence.Matt's selection started with a wonderful white wine that got surprise praise from my wife and I, along with four of the others at our table of 8 people. Amazing, as most of us do not like, favor, or necessarily choose to drink white wine, or do so because it is served. This white wine was worthy of a case buy.In I went to Winestore and, having forgotten the name of the wine (!), went to the counter describing Matt's presentation and Matt spoke up saying this particular white wine's name: Combeval Grand Cuvee from France. BINGO!At $12.99 it was a bit higher than our target price of $10 for wine, but this one was worth it.The shopper in front of me had bought a red wine, Jeff Runquist 1448, raved about it, receiving lots of nodding heads from Matt and his staff, so I bought two bottles of that red.Winestore is small, but nicely set up with lighted shelves and a pretty good selection of wines. Prices are a bit high, but I think you can count on getting unusual and quality wines. We will return. Check it out.

Im so beyond incredibly happy to have found this wonderful gem!! They are super helpful in finding something that you like and very knowledgeable. They have some awesome choices and a little bit of everything for everyone.

I feel compelled to update my review as the customer service level has continued to be absolutely stellar (even 7 years after my first review). I'm not sure why I think having a small wine shop with people who know their inventory intimately is such a luxury, but it really is! The folks here at Winestore Blakeney know what's on their shelves, know what to recommend when you enter with an idea, and they will always point you in several directions depending on (A) what you're hunting for; and (B) your price point! If you want a delicious champagne at champagne prices, they have that! If you want a champagne experience but you're OK with a cava or prosecco (and the lovely lower price point), they have that too!! Want to splurge on a big cabernet without the big price? They can help! I have never walked into this shop and been disappointed!In short - if you're in/near the South Charlotte area and want to spend money on wine without the big box store with tons of choices but no one to really give you a personal opinion, you NEED to do yourself a favor and step into THIS shop!

Honestly as far as wine shops go this one is great. Lots of regulars and they always have tastings. The prices are incredible but it's really nice going in there as everyone is so welcoming. I try to go once a week or so. Cool spot!

I moved from Savannah, where I used to shop in my friend's fabulous wine store that also had tasting machines. I am pleased to be able to once again shop in a boutique-style wine store offering a unique variety of wine and bubbles. Thank you for excellent service and selection. The bonus-a great cigar shop just across the way!

As someone new in the area, I was looking for some nice wine bars or vendors, which made me come across to this fine specimen. This wine store reminds me of growler specialty shops in Oregon, Denver, and Texas where they allow you to sample beers to see which one you would like to purchase for yourself. It's an amazing experience and extremely fun in groups (Sunday funday classy style). There are a few reasons why i exclusively come here for wine:1) great prices, fantastic selection, and knowledgable staff. Any great wine store needs all of these in order to be considered a premium seller. The selection is also very impressive, my favorite being the Ca Moni (extremely well priced and just delicioso)2) SAMPLE WINES! It's not free, but oh so fun! - Step 1) acquire a store card (not a credit card) to funnel your money in. - Step 2) put money on- Step 3) sample your life away on their sample machine! The quality ranges from your lower end to very high end wine. The higher the quality, the more $ you pay for the sample, but only a dollar or two :)Overall if you love wine you need to check this out. You may never go anywhere again

A wonderful store to stop in and look for great wine, chat with the owner, as well as complete a wine tasting (if you so choose). They also have some fantastic beer selection for those who like hoppy beer. Very knowledgable staff and a wide selection based on region, cost, and white v red - it's impossible to not find what you're looking for. Highly recommend stopping by and hanging out; you'll get an education, meet new people, and feel great for supporting a local business.

Excellent wines at excellent prices.... I see wines from 8.99 - 39.99 or more. They don't carry all brands, more of a boutique... but they feature lesser known wines at big discounts.... And a few months later I see them in all the stores at full prices. Stick up if you find ones you like!

I wish I could give 10 stars! This is my go to place for all wine. They have the best prices in town, can get any wine you are looking for and always have the best service. The staff is great, so knowledgeable and no matter how busy they are they always take the time to help you find what you are looking for. Definitely go here!
