Excellent service and excellent selection of wines and beers. They had Highlands Cold Mountain Ale on draft, so I went with that, but the wines that came out to the rest of the table were also delicious.We came with a large party of people and had a reservation in the back. Our server was very attentive and helpful with wine selections. Also, she wasn't sure about a recommendation for a specific wine, so the owner came out and helped as well, which was very nice. They were out of a few of the wines we wanted to try, but it was the day after Christmas and that was completely expected. What we had was fantastic.We did not order food because we had another reservation for dinner, but both the server and the owner made sure to let us know that if we were ordering food for a large group, they have a very small kitchen and it would take a little longer to accomplish everyone. Even though we were not dining in, I appreciated knowing that, and wanted to mention that if you have a large party and are eating, just be patient and have more wine!

Waited 30 minutes for the waitress to take our order and we never got our food. They didn't even apologize. They were just rude and the place was empty.

Loved this place. New owner bought this place a few months ago. Great atmosphere, great wine selection, superb live music.... I would move to Brevard just to come back here. Oh, and the desserts... yum!

Great selection of wine, beer, cider. The food is exceptional and pairs beautifully with the vibe of Wine Down. We had the flatbreads and they even offer vegan cheese on request. Delicious. Really love the cozy ambiance and the live music is so entertaining. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. A fine establishment that I highly recommend.

Really love this place. Saw a sign outside of it saying their special was French onion soup and a Tuscan chicken flatbread and after a day of hiking we wanted a snack and to warm up! We each got the soup and shared the flatbread and I truly think I'll be dreaming of that flatbread for months to come (not a local so I'll have to hold it in my memory). The ambiance is good and cute, and towards the end of our meal a live musician began playing. Our waitress was okay, she was not great and she was running around a lot, despite it not seeming too busy. But, we were really there to just nibble and hang so we didn't mind. In total for two bowls of soup, a wine flight, and a flatbread it came to 40 dollars.

Great place to grab a drink or two prior to dinner in town. Nice open bar area with lots of super affordable wines and quick bites if needed. {didn't try the food so can't speak to it} Live music on this Saturday night we visited around 8pm.

The bar staff service here is great, always polite, professional, and can carry a great conversation. That's why I return. The owner seems as though he means well but comes across as the type of guy who can't leave things alone and ends of being more of a pain in the ass when he attempts customer service. Sorry dude but just make sure things run well and trust your staff. I have seen this guy have a mini melt down when kitchen gets busy, kinda funny and sad at same time. My small group left after that. My suggestion to the owner is GET SOME FUCKING CRACKERS (including GF) for your charcuterie boards!!! The pathetic bread you serve needs to go. This will instantly elevate your chow presentation from blah to decent. When that new wine bar opens up down the street, competition may drive you out of business unless you fix the obvious problems which includes you.

What a great new addition to main st! Great service fabulous wine selection and friendly service. Food selection is light /fare but all the ingredients are fresh and delicious The best part is the live music. Such talent and quite an array of genre all well done. Can't wait to return when I'm in the area again

Wine Down is under new management and is better than ever. The days of operation have been extended to include Monday and Tuesday. The always great wine list has been expanded to include a variety of new wines along with the previous favorites. There is also a very nice selection of craft beer. Don't overlook the food menu. There are some outstanding items for a pleasant meal. Locals love the daily soup specials and the warm and comfy atmospher.

This is the most consistent place in town. It looks small from the outside but don't let it fool you, there is ample space to relax and enjoy a bottle of wine whether alone or with a group. The bar area is comfortable and either has pleasant music playing or something live on some weekends. There are chairs, tables, and even small couches to sit and relax. The employees are always incredibly nice and helpful. I've never had bad service here. That's rare in this small town. The food menu is limited but absolutely excellent. There are meat and cheese trays that you can customize, flatbreads, paninis, as well as a few other items. All my meals here have been delicious. Bonus feature is half price bottles on Wednesday. The crowd here is always mellow and friendly. Give this place a try. You won't regret it.
